  1. I can access anything on the new Saints Website ............ ........... as long as I sign up for Saints Player first. Why ??
  2. Yes, I agree that Umbro have a five year deal, but in Hypocondriacs original post, his thoughts were that we would possibly revert back to stripes next season. But, we have no way of knowing that. This season, we only knew that stripes had been ditched in favour of the Liverpool Look when the Club unveiled it. Was the opinion of Saints Fans sought re ditching Red and White stripes ..... NO, and it wont be sought next year either, and THAT is wrong IMHO They may very well listen to the points raised re the shorts and socks, so, who knows, next season we may get the shorts changed to white, and the socks changed to black ....... with the shirts remaining as red. Nice
  3. What at ?? On NA's "formations" that are blatantly obvious to most absolute garbage ?? NA's "use" of JayRod is a prime example of wasting a talent. I'm surprised he hasn't played DeRidder in goal The only chance we have against Man City is if they havn't stopped laughing
  4. WHERE does it state that ???
  5. The kits from 1950 to the 80's were also Red and White stripes The years when Saints wore yellow/blue predates me, so I never knew them then Saw them in yellow/blue in both 76 an 03, when Man u and Arsenal won the toss for their "home" shirts
  6. I get your reasoning, As opposed to walking around in a shirt looking like a female Chinese shot putter Hmmm
  7. As I wrote "For as long as I can remember" I'm glad your memories of 1901 have stayed with you. My memories of Saints started in the 1950's
  8. I'd like to think so, but don't hold your breath Cortese is great in most other aspects of running Saints, but has not been part of our Heritage and Tradition IMHO, to dismiss the Stripes philosophy, and go with something that does not in any way look like Saints, is possibly the worst decision he has made I doubt if he will change his mindset for next season, or any other season
  9. For as long as I can remember, traditionally Saints have always been Red and White Stripes. After the Sash period they changed to Red and White Stripes, and have always been known by them Cortese has scrapped tradition, and has now got us looking like a Liverpool or Middlesborough 2nd team I've given it a chance for the "new" colors to sink in, and I realise Commercially that they have sold well, ie there's nothing else to buy, but I for one have come to the conclusion that I don't like our "new" colors' Sainta ARE Red and White Stripes, it is our Heritage IMHO Anyone else agree ??
  10. Problem is, he HASN'T, they have got away with £150M and £50M of DEBT, and will start again with a puny -10 Why the likes of Luton, Bournemouth etc are not pounding on the FL's door amazes me. What hold have Pompey got over the Football Authorities ???? Level playing field ??? ..... Horlicks !!!!
  11. That would leave the way open for Chelsea to buy Luke Shaw ??

  13. Careful, musn't voice an opinion ..... Delldays will tell you off
  14. Thank you for your constructive response to an opinion, (which may come true, who knows) Anyway, you're up early ... did you wet the bed again ??

  16. Quite simply, it is the inability of our No 1 keeper to get anywhere near the long range shots. FACT
  17. First reportsindicate that Mars has more atmosphere than the F*rton Kr*p hovel
  18. £5 down payment Then £1.50 per month for 2000 years (IE:- Just like Pompey's normal trading terms )
  19. Who ??? Please refresh my memory
  20. Or maybe the bloke that deletes the text is ill
  21. As I understood it, I thought it was a "with an OPTION to buy " clause ??? Nothing binding
  22. Of course Viet Nam have EVERY intention of completing the "Sale" for £17M at the end of the season WHY do the FL allow such "hollow" transfers ???
  23. Surely it should be "Portsmouth Sh*thole sale"
  24. Could be that Lens is a bit like the Hubble 'scope was .......... slightly out of focus
  25. Buying a "great young keeper" does not always pay off. Classic example Forecast, who looked great when Butlands age Saints have opted for Gazzanegra, who, from what video snips I have seen, shows a lot of potential IMHO ( No point in Butland now, the ages are too close ) Plus, being Mercenary about it, getting Paulo has saved us circa £5M Another bit of shrewd business by Nicola I think
