I think that is the crux of the matter The Leibherrs are NOT Football people, and have no concept of keeping a "Top" team at the Top, or even aiming for it. IMHO, Cortese has detailed what monies are now necessary for Saints to moveto the "next" level, and the Leibherrs are now realising that, in football, spending money is a bottomless pit. If Cortese and Pochettino go, that WILL cripple us, and put us in reverse Big Time. Whether the Leibherrs could still sell Saints for the money we were actually worth a few weeks ago is now very very debateable IMHO Hard to sell a house when you know the foundations are beginning to crumble I don't think Markus would have wanted this to happen.

You can't see much difference ??? Look through Wigans history over the last 15 years and see if you can find ANY mention of them going into Administration TWICE, owing circa £150M and £60M. failing to pay a penny back on either occasion. And also see if you can find ANY mention of Wigan renaging on debts owed to local businesses and Charities. Whelan has put his own money into Wigan over the years, not money laundered or gun running type money Apart from those few things, yes, there is quite a similarity between how the two clubs have been run.

IMHO, I don't think his heart is in it, or ever has been. I don't think he really wants to be here, or ever has, and his performances don't in any way justify the £12M price tag. Whenever he has played, (which hasn't been too many times), you can set your watch when he will get subbed. I think he was Cortese's "saving grace" purchase, and IMHO, he has certainly not lived up to all the hype going around during the long drawn out transfer saga. Cortese should have better spent the £12M on two decent CB's or LB, which. at the time, was the main Priority IMHO

Yes, I quite agree Under MP, we have dropped down the table to 14th, 4 points above the drop (pre Wigan v Swansea ) ...... but everybody dismisses this as a "glitch" because we are a better "Team" ... So what ? It's League points that count, and they are currently in very short supply. Pochettino seems to be living in the Future, dreaming of Champions League, whereas, this may soon turn out to be his Chumpions League. His "high press" tactic seems to have been well sussed and nullified by our opponents, and there does not appear to be any plan B around. Apart from that, he has his finger well and truly on the pulse, and is doing so much better than Mr Adkins, that there is no worthy comparison to be made
