I am pleased that SFC stuck to their guns and did not bow to Agent and Player pressure I am completely against any player who tries to hold a Club to ransom, especially if they have only recently signed a long term Contract Trouble is, as I have said before, Players are signed to TRAIN during the week, with a view to being selected on Match Days So, the Question to ask is, will he ever PLAY for us again ??, because, to "honour" his contract, all he has to do is TRAIN Not much of a result for us paying public who go to Matches is it ?
-
I say, steady on there. When I said that I got crucified. But, I do agree. We ARE going backwards and we DO NOT have any Ambition That's why Cortese, Pochettino, and Koeman left Pity that others on here can't see it Cue C B Fry etc etc etc
-
Could not agree more We need a STRIKER, someone who can score Goals. We have needed one for a season and a half. Who is top of our current Goalscorers ?? Still Roy of The Rovers, because no one in our current Squad can do it

Van Dyk What a shambles So Saints are making a stand are they ? Van Dyk won't leave in this transfer window ( but nailed on for January ) Will he PLAY any matches for his Club ( Saints ) ? No way So, what is the end result ? Van Dyk says he doesn't want to play, so, SFC won't consider him for First Team Duty Why not ? Is he not under Contract ? Ah, now there lies the problem People should wake up to the fact that, these days, players are signed to TRAIN, with a view to selection to play on Match days What good is that to the SUPPORTERS Van Dyk will continue training, right up to January, then he will be sold What a great stance by Southampton Football Club Is he losing any money ? No, because he is honouring his Contract by TRAINING Pathetic Oh for someone with Balls like Laurie McMenemy, or Brian Clough, or Alex Ferguson They would have sorted out these “ players “ PDQ

Lander is waiting for SISU to release some funds .............. Problem is, they want the $ 99.50 in ONE payment
-
When was that ? I repeat, I have only ever had one login address
-
Never left Still throwing abuse I see Perhaps it will change when you get to your Teens
-
What logins are those ??? Ask the Mods. I've only ever had one login
-
So, no response re Van Dijk then I suppose that because you are such a great Saints Fan, you won't even comment ? Perish the thought that you utter something negative
-
Why ?? Was my question too hard for you ?? Look on Wiki His Win Ratio is poor Fact Can't wait for when we discuss Van Dijk leaving
-
Nou Camp ??? Barcelona ?? When did he manage them ??
-
The main thing to worry about is his very poor Win ratio
-
IMHO Koeman is leaving for ONE reason AMBITION He said recently that he would be having talks with the Owners, to see if their Ambitions Matched his Obviously, they don't, so he's going to go to a BIGGER Club, who DO have Ambition I don't blame him one bit, I blame the Owners Shame on them

Jose Fonte signs contract extension until 2018!
SaintRichmond replied to SaintLondon's topic in The Saints
Yes, it is good news about Fonte, but, it's always easy to get a player to sign a new deal if the Player WANTS to sign a new deal. Plus the fact that he would not have set the transfer market alight in January Realistically, I'll be impressed IF Wanyama and Mane sign NEW Long Term deals But, I'm not holding my breath on either of those, but I will be interested in how much Spuds and Manure shell out for them -
2 years ? Same Question. Did he sign an extension ? I thought this was his final year
-
Is he ? Till 2018 ? When was that nailed down then ??
-
Yes, and we got Frank Saul in part exchange What a Massive coup that was
-
The point being made was that the Manager's and Chairmans statement was made AFTER Morgan and Clyne had been sold, and Toby had not been persuaded to stay Now, IMHO, if that statement had been made BEFORE anyone had departed, it may have had some substance Stones and Berahino were, and are under CONTRACT to their respective Clubs ................... So were Clyne and Schneiderlin Football is a farce, the Transfer window should end on the Eve of the first Matches of the season, and there should be NO January Sales
-
THAT would be a very very true assessment of most Pro Footballers IMHO
-
A good thesis, I trust you will run it by Ronald prior to kick off ?
-
I wonder if he has a Plan B now that VVD isn't coming now ? Doubt it Has no one else noticed that with Katharinas lesser "Ambitions", the Club is slowly going back to what it was...... a CCC Club trying to stay out of the bottom three in the Prem I fully expect the Deck Of Cards scenario to kick off any minute now

Wanyama Transfer Rumours - Summer 2015 Edition
SaintRichmond replied to brett24's topic in The Saints
Yes We DO lack ambition. Successful Teams IMPROVE their sides, NOT sell them off every window and try to get cheaper make do's IMHO Spurs WILL get Wanyama I just hope Townsend doesn't get that nasty stomach bug like Big Vic, otherwise it could jeopardise everything Perhaps we could throw in JRod ..... saves Levy coming back in January Or perhaps we could groundshare, then our players wont have to move too far -
Wanyama Transfer Rumours - Summer 2015 Edition
SaintRichmond replied to brett24's topic in The Saints
Yeah, just like Reed last season saying none of our stars would leave Then, after checking SFC had sold enough Season Tickets, the "Sales" began No different to this year Managers have to assemble New Teams every year with what is left over Fred Karno time -

Hope I'm wrong, but I don't think I will be (Hope Vics Tummy upset doesn't prevent him getting to WHL)
