.... Sorry !!!!!!!!! ........... I missed out all the positives ........... ............... Sorry again ........ I couldn't find any

We were, and still are HEADING FOR ADMINISTRATION in any case ....... All Lowe has done, is basically what any proven Administrator would have done The basic difference is, AFTER Administration, you pick up the pieces and BUILD ........... with Lowe, after all the Fire Sales etc etc ......... we are STILL in NO BETTER POSITION than when it started ......... and soon, even Lowe will have NOTHING LEFT TO SELL The man is a complete waste of space ............ I hope Wilde is still pleased Gordon Brown and Peter Mandleson Rupert Lowe and Michael Wilde I wonder where the first Dagger will come from ???
-
Ah Yes ........... but we'd be rid of Lowe ........ and we would not stay bottom for long ...... as per Rotherham

Rupert's Doctrine Beginning to Bear Meaningful Fruit Coventry, much maligned, taken over by "Bad" SISU, who Lowe rejected out of hand, now Managed by a "no hope" Manager, Chris Coleman ....... are now 6th in the CCC, after anihilating a pathetic SAints Team 4 - 1 Leicester, relegated on last day of last season, managed by the "no hoper" Nigel Pearson, who, in spite of heavy odds against, did guide Saints to safety on the last day of season, rejected out of hand by Lowe, mainly because he had not appointed in in the first place ........... now sit TOP of Div 1 Saints, stripped of any and all recognised "seasoned" Pro's, and run by Two untried and unproven Dutch Coaches, having started out on the path of "Total Football", and now trying to add a few CCC type players ........ crash yet again to a very bad defeat ......... now sit proudly 3 points away from the Drop Zone ......... So, everything seems to be going to your wonderful "I know everything" plan then Rupert ........... ???

I think the "Empty Seat" situation is easy to explain It boils down to the word "Success" When we were in the Prem, we had a Team, that, on it's day, could beat whoever the opposition was. The attendances reflected that, ie 28K + After Relegation, we still had high hopes of a swift return to the Prem, but, due to a host of reasons, this was not achieved. Over that period of time to the present day, the "support" has eroded, because, in reality, we have NOT had a Team worthy of the name, to do justice to the name Southampton The current situation is, IMHO, that there are signs that a TEAM is being forged together, that CAN do us proud in the CCC If, and it's a big If, we get a result at Coventry, then the cynics will start to come back Typical example of how "frail" the potential support is ....Blackpool at Home ... lost 0-1, att 15629, after getting results v Derby and Birmingham. They "flattered to deceive", so to speak, and some supporters said "****" it, I'll not bother Success breeds Success. If Saints can string some wins together, and show that they can be a force to be reckoned with, attendances WILL increase

4-4-2 whats happenend to Total football!
SaintRichmond replied to SOTONS EAST SIDE's topic in The Saints
I would like to think that Poortvliet had enough intelligence to realise that TOTAL "Total Football" was NOT getting us any results in the CCC Therefore, credit to him to changing things to what I call a "mixture" of "total" and "reality" Football, which has of late, started to get us results Once he sorts out the Defence, then we should start to get hard to beat ............ but he MUST sort the defence out ......... Kelvin Davis kept us in it again last night, else things could have turned out differently IMHO -
WHAT A LOAD OF DRIVEL How much is Lowe paying you to defend such stupid actions as these ?? Ask ANY Saints fan what was the most important match ?? ....... No Brainer ... The Doncaster one by a mile It IS obvious to most that Killer's appearances are going to be sparse to say the least ....... so why is it that Messrs Lowe and Poortvliet either cannot, or won't see it BASIC KRAP MANAGEMENT ... right down from the Top

Lazy journalism at the Echo just gets worse..

... A "Win" Bonus ????? No worries there then ....... play him -
Doncaster 4 Southampton 0 ........ but I can't wait for the latest useless excuses by Jan Poortvliet PS Before all the Krap about me not being a Fan, just wait until the final whistle before you start throwing spears
-
The Plot ??? ...... What plot is that then ........... ... Oh yes, Lowe's " Killers back, so we won't need cover there then " .. Plot ? Another inspired move by a Chairman with a vendetta I suppose people MAY wake up when we are in Div 2 and gone to the wall .......

So, if as you say, some players are NOT playing to orders ....... whose fault is that then ??? Only one answer to that ...Jan Poortvliet ........ if HIS instructions are being ignored by certain players, that, IMHO, demonstrates just how much RESPECT they have for their Manager He is in charge of the Team, so you cannot call it any other way Purely as an example ......... if those self same players had gone against what Pearson's orders were, .... he'd have had their guts for garters ....... IMHO, against all the odds, Pearson kept us up last term, and it is yet another tragedy that Lowe's "I know everything" Ego prevented him from continuing as our Manager this Season
-
????? The Young players that I have been watching since the start of the season ARE being hung out to dry ..... I'm not on about the injured ones. You go on about If If If .... but the reality was that the Eleven who DID play, were not, on the night, equal to a Team Two Leagues lower. Have you not played in a Football Team yourself ?? Even at School level ??? Winning breeds a winning mentality ... Losing breeds a losing one Irrespective of whether Bart should have played or not, or the mystery about Skacel ....... whatever Saints Team is fielded ARE getting into the Losing habit And IF you are hinting at SFC not being interested in the Carling Cup, then that is even MORE bad Business sense ........ A home tie v Man Utd would have brought in a few pennies to aid Lowe's Legacy surely Think it through again my friend. The confidence of the Team has been visibly draining with every match that is played, and that is echoed by the failing confidence of us Customers who go along to watch in ever decreasing numbers I repeat that IMHO, the very very good Young players HAVE, and ARE, being hung out to dry .... like Lambs to the Slaughter
-
That is absolutely FANTASTIC my friend Problem is, Lowe will view it as a "Fun Thing" from one of his Customers I used to think ****s had their uses ....... but Lowe has dispelled that theaory ........ and his personnal Tampax Chum Wilde
-
If you have the players with enough Quality and experience .... Yes If you have the players with enough Quality, but NO experience .... No We have Young Quality players, but with not enough "experienced Pro's " to guide them ....... and they are currently being hung out to dry ........ which is a terrible shame

I'm glad you like a laugh my friend ..... IMHO, I no longer have to "crave" for Administration......... that will happen sooner rather than later ........ and certainly not because of one humble Customer like myself And if you think that the players are not losing faith with JP, then you are deluding yourself Big Time -
Because they have not had an experienced CCC Goalscorer, to finish off all the great total football build up play. If they had rounded off some of those moves with the ball in the back of the net, then perhaps they may have seen where they were going. All they are seeing at the moment, is all their hard grafted approach football going to waste because of the lack of finishing it off. Over a period of time, your confidence GOES ..... and that is what has started to happen Unless Lowe acknowledges that, and insists on playing approach football ( that IS good to watch ), we will have more and more defeats because, at the end of the day .... GOALS win matches WAKE UP Lowe ...... or admit you were wrong in the first place

Seems that the players do NOT really care whether they Win, Lose or Draw ...... and for that sort of attitude, it has to come back to the Manager? Coach ... ie Jan Poortvliet For me, it is obvious that the players now have no CONFIDENCE, RESPECT, or BELIEF in JP's Methods and System That would be painfully OBVIOUS to a Manager of a Hants League 2 Team. I fear that if Lowe persists with his "Youth is the way", then he may very well be proved correct ......... The way to Div 1, and worse In Business Rupert, if your methods, doctrine, system, etc, is not working .... then you reflect back on that, and CHANGE IT ........ before the Business goes down the pan As a humble CUSTOMER of yours, I would suggest you change it quick, otherwise, the 15000 at the last home match will be seem as a Full House at the next one Your CUSTOMERS do not like what is on offer. Only a Fool would not take heed if his CUSTOMER base was eroding fast Radical Change should be top of the next Agenda .......... else, GET OUT -
Man City ...... you don't mean that Team that has attracted INVESTMENT in spite of the World Economic Meltdown ?????? ( Yes I know there are big differences ..... I'm purely illustrating the fact that Investment IS always lurking out there )
-
Which is, of course, exactly what "I know best" Lowe did Not only will it not work, he is destroying the confidence of some very good young players ....... WHO ARE NOT QUITE READY FOR THE CCC Jason Dodd WAS right ........ Lowe WAS wrong Dodd has gone ........ Lowe should follow
-
I agree with some of that, but would like to say ... Up until this season, St Mary's was pretty well attended, and by and large, the crowd gave the players on the park good support This season, gates have dipped to cirka 15000, and a lot of the support has gone It is depressing for the "faithful" 15000 to be in a half empty Stadium, where it gets so quiet, you can almost hear a fart from the other side of the pitch It must be at least TWICE as depressing from the players point of view, playing in front of a half empty Stadium, and knowing that they are on a hiding to nothing before they even kick a ball If only the attendances this season were the same as last, I honestly think that the "extra" noise/support generated would lift our very young Team, and their morale would not have been shattered I am firmly of the belief, that a very large percentage of "stayaways" have been influenced mainly by the return of Rupert Lowe and Michael Wilde. These two individuals are proven FAILURES, yet they formed a DEvils Alliance to get back in Us Supporters, or as Lowe refers to us, "Customers" have had enough, and that is unequivically proven by the empty seats at St Mary's I would venture to bet however, that if Lowe & Wilde were to leave tomorrow, the next home gate would show a dramatic improvement. Even under Branfoot, us Supporters managed to lift the Team, and of course, we had Le Tiss It is alreadt time for Lowe & Wilde to RESIGN. It is blatently obvious that solely playing youngsters, with just the odd addition of an "experienced" head, is just not going to work Do not wait until 15 matches in, or 20 matches in, or even 25 matches in ........... CHANGE MUST HAPPEN NOW .......... before the "confidence" of some very very good youngsters is shattered beyond repair. When you are a young player, you never think you are going to lose, ( every match is a Cup Final, remember ?? ) But when you DO start to lose, you start to have the confidence drain from you, to be replaced by the Fear Factor Don't let it get that bad I really think that say 22000 could cheer OUR SAINTS on to Victory at St Mary's, with the addition of say two experienced heads ....... coupled with the permanent removal of Two other heads .... LOWE & WILDE For those that say Administration is not the way I say ....... Why Not ?? Going on as we are will mean the Club gets poorer and poorer, the debts get higher and higher ...... nothing changes other than further Relegations, all endorsed by Lowe's Ruddy Grin, and his own belief that he is never wrong. I really feel sorry for Poortvliet ... with just a few more seasoned, experienced, pros in the side, he would make it work, and then be able to blood the youngsters on a winning run, instead of having to watch them struggle to come out of a losing one Go now Lowe & Wilde, you are the disaster many of us knew would happen
-
The UK is a completely different Mind Set to our friends in the USA The Clubs run Football ... the Sweet FA don't ........ a good illustration is the Punishments handed out by the mighty FA to some Lower League Teams ( who do not possess the financial "Clout" to fight back. ........ But the FA could NEVER impose such penalty's on ANY Team in the Prem ......... they would be told to go forth and multiply in no uncertain terms
-
Quite agree my friend ( my first match was way back in 1953, Fred Kiernan was the GK ) MORE than just a few Supporters have declined to go because of Lowelife and Judas Wilde The Reality is, Lowe is, in effect, an Administrator in all by appointment. He has done no more, no less, than an official one would have done. ........ Trouble is, with Lowe's tinkering, we are even deeper in the Sh*t than we would be under Admin, because whether you like it or not, Admin WOULS serve a great purpose to Saints Fans, painful as the exercise would be. What with all of Lowe's "other" jobs, he'd be hard pressed to be dedicating more than one day per week to SFC, and you cannot run ANY Business on a one day a week basis The quicker Lowelife and Judas Wilde go for ever, the better
-
The Stark Reality is :- If you want Saints to (at best) remain in the CCC, or even get another Relegation ..... then carry on playing Pretty Pretty Football If you want Saints to survive in the CCC, and get Streetwise, then an alternative system HAS to be played, Not necessarily Hoof N Run, but certainly a style more in keeping with the CCC format Me ? I would of course like to see purist Football, but, as can be seen so far, Purist Pretty Pretty Football is NOT WORKING in the CCC League places do not lie ........ and we are currently THIRD from bottom Only a lunatic would NOT advocate a change in style of play
-
Yes, they are WINNING ........ possibly because they have a Manager who has sussed out how to utilise his Squad to play the type of Football necessary to get Promotion from Div 1 .......... ........ wish I could remember his name, I'd suggest it to Rupert I bet Mandaric couldn't believe his luck
