Lowe's egotistical obsession in thinking he is never ever wrong in anything he says or does, is now taking us to the brink of another Relegation ...... when that happens, and Lowe says we have to cut costs to survive in Division 1 .......... what does he sell then ?????? I have come to the conclusion, that in the present circumstances, our only Hope as a Club, IS Administration, as a means of getting rid of, once and for all, all the Leeches that have for years, been sucking the life blood from the Saints

The Major problems that any "Replacement Manager" would have to face are :- 1- 1000 ) Rupert Lowe would still be Chairman 1001 ) The "New" manager would inherit exactly what Poortvliet has got :- A Squad one season short in experience at CCC level ... very few senior experienced Pros, and NO MONEY to bring in those players with the craft of stabilising the ship So, WHAT would be the point of dumping Poortvliet ??? ..... The tradegy is, with just 2 or 3 more "senior" players, we WOULD have a half decent Team Remember ... LOWE sold off the best of what we had, NOT Poortvliet If you are realistic, Lowe's " Fire Sale " was pointless ..... compared to our overal DEBT, the monies received by those Sales are peanuts by comparison. The only achievement in that has been the allienation and demorilisation of us SUPPORTERS, and the major reduction in EXPERIENCE on the Pitch

The problem has ALWAYS been that the majority of Saints FANS would not have had Lowe back. Because Coventry were going down the financial Toilet fast, I thought the first priority would have been to " relaunch" the Club on a debt free financial base ...........which, IMHO, SISU have done Their results on the pitch have not been fantastic, but, IMHO, they stand more of a chance of survival in the CCC than Saints do All that Lowe has done, is to sell off everything he could lay his hands on, to REDUCE running costs .....HE HAS NOT CLEARED DEBTS ...... We are therefore STILL in a far far worse position than Coventry Their financial position is positive ......... ours is negative and getting worse by the week This season (in the CCC) .... Lowe sells and sells to reduce costs ...... end result ....... we do NOT have a Team capable of staying in the CCC, and come January, Lowe will sell any good young player he can ....... end result RELEGATION Next season (in Div 1) ..... our operating costs are too high for Div 1, and Lowe attempts to sell and sell to reduce costs ......... but, by then, we will have NOTHING LEFT TO SELL ......... Agreed, and that is down to the basic fact that Lowe is a BUSINESSMAN, not a FOOTBALL MAN I fully realise that is has to be run as a Business, but NOT AT THE EXPENSE OF THE PLAYERS ON THE PARK At the start of this season, it WOULD have been possible to strike a happy medium of a mixture of YOUTH and EXPERIENCE, but Lowe put all his eggs in one basket, and insisted on a so called "Firesale", by getting rid of a lot of experienced players, Players that WOULD have got us more points, moved us up the table somewhat, and attracted circa 22000 to watch. He then insisted that the Academy Youth was the way forward, DESPITE many knowledgable Football people telling him otherwise. As per usual, in Lowe's opinion, he is never wrong. Lowe's "methods" have ensured that a very good young, but inexperienced Team has struggled, and, of late, older Experienced players ( but not high Quality) have started to be drafted back in So, Lowe has HAD to adapt his philosophy somewhat, albeit far too late IMHO
