breaking sky sports news - independent enquiry into accounts
SaintRichmond replied to shurlock's topic in The Saints
Yup ....... the League is hoping we finish in the bottom three, then they won't look so mean when they dock us points in Div 1 -
My take on it is this .. Had we been, or likely to have been MORE than ten points above third bottom, then Lowe would have opted for Administration BEFORE the League deadline IF he thought he could get away with what he tried to get away with, then I'm afraid he was seriously deluded, as all he has done is to ENSURE Div 1 Football next season, one way or the other. Another wonderful Businesslike Kock up from Teflon Lowe
-
If we had a "watertight" case as you put it, Leeds, Bournemouth etc would not have a case ......... DERBY is the example that Saints are hoping to follow ...... but I honestly believe that the League will impose the 10 points, whichever way you cut it, it will be Div 1 next season What will be very bad IMHO, is for Saints to NOT end up in the bottom three, THEN the League to announce the penalty ......... will they be as Heartless as that ?????
-
Could it ??? ...... Make no mistake, the League ARE going to impose a Ten point penalty, but are being very crafty If they imposed it NOW, we would virtually know we are in Div 1 next year, and our last six matches would be little more than kick abouts from our point of view So The League have called for an enwuiry ...... to buy time By the time that the enquiry is over, we will know, from our results on the pitch, whether we can escape the drop ...... BUT If we DID escape the drop, the League would rule in favour of a 10 point penalty .... thus Relegating us If we do NOT escape the drop, then we start at minus 10 points in Div 1 Either way, the League will enforce it's Law, the penalty for going into Admin CANNOT be avoided WELL THOUGHT OUT MR LOWE
-
Simple ... All prospective interested parties are waiting to see if Saints get docked 10 points..... THAT will mean automatic RELEGATION, and life in Div 1 THEN, those 15-20 enquiries will soon melt away ..... ...... enter Lowe, " The Saviour of Saints "
-
Don't you get it yet ????? Even if we win enough matches to stay up, the League will dock us 10 points, which will mean RELEGATION It is Div 1 next season, the League Rules will make sure of that
-
IMHO, Lowe knew full well what the outcome of Leisure Holdings calling in the Administrators AFTER the League deadline A NAILED ON TEN POINT DEDUCTION that GUARENTEED Relegation What an absolute To**er he remains .... Good job he "loves" the Club ......... God knows what he would have done otherwise But, unfortunately, he WILL be back. Once it is confirmed that we are in Div 1 next season, most of the Nineteen interested parties will melt away, and we will be left with a another version of the Reverse Takeover ......... Fronted by you know who ......... .... " He aint dead, he's resting "
-
He is " doing the rounds " to make out that none of SFC's troubles are of HIS making That simply means that he has EVERY intention of coming back, most likely at the head of a Consortium .......... but, surprise, surprise, NO real Investment for the Club LEOPARDS DO NOT CHANGE THEIR SPOTS
-
IMHO, there is no way Saints will escape the 10 point deduction .... in effect a Double Whammy If we get out of the bottom three, we will get a Ten point penalty, which means RELEGATION If we end up in the bottom three, that means Relegation .... starting off with minus 10 points next season WELL DONE RUPERT ....... The Savior of Saints .....

What is the average attendance for 2008/9 ..... exclusively under Lowe ???
-
If it were to be Souness, then that would be quite ironic ... If I remember correvtly, he was the First "Quality" Manager hired by Lowe When Souness went to Lowe, to discuss Funds for Pre season purchases, Lowe literally offerred him Peanuts to buy Two or Three players, let alone One decent one .......... Souness decided he'd had enough and left. So, if he comes back now, to, in effect, take the place of Lowe The Arrogant, then I'm sure he will have a quiet chuckle. e
-
Sorry .... I've only been supporting Saints for 50 years ...... HOW did he have a shot at saving us ???? Do you mean sacking the Manager that had kept us up ? Do you mean Going Dutch with the untried Duo ? Do you mean playing with all Youngsters because proven Goalscorers had been sold or loaned out ? Do you mean again alienating the Supporters (customers to him) Please explain how any of THAT helped Saints ON THE PITCH
-
Do YOU still not get it ?????? Lowe has always been 1000% Business .... 0% Football He has FAILED at Business (look at all his previous Company's) ....... and has led Saints Football Team to the brink of extinction Thanks to Lowe, all we can look forward to is CERTAIN Relegation, because evn if we climb out of the bottom three, the League will hit us with TEN POINTS So, from whichever angle you look at it ..... Well Done Rupert PS: IMHO, the man is a Liar .... he WILL be back
-
As Lowe was, and always was, THE stumbling block to ANY ouside Investment coming in, it's a level playing field now ( excuse the pun )
-
Exactly what I thought ......... So Lowe delaying Leisure Holdings going into Administration until AFTER the League Cit Off date was his Final Knife in the back gesture then ?? Great man ........ should have known .... his eyebrows meet .......
-
Which is NOT the same as saying he's not interested in coming back is it ? Been there before ..... he said he wouldn't be back last time ....... I do not believe a single word the man speaks, and neither should anyone else IMHO
-
...... " Hello, Good Afternoon ....... and Welcome "
-
Papers do not say this, because Lowe never mentioned it to them, so, in addition to his wonderful Business accumen, they should be aware of this When he came back, and prior to the start of the season :- 1) He dismissed Nigel Pearson, in a lot of peoples opinion, the man who had managed to keep us up in 2008 2) He brought in Two untried and untested (in the UK) Dutch "Managers", Poortvliet and Wotte 3) He insisted on a Dutch "Total Football" concept, which had no chance of working in the Championship 4) He insisted that we go with Youth, and by so doing , sold off, or loaned out, any and all players that represented experience, mainly in the Goalscoring department 5) He (again) alienated the Supporters, (Who he refers to as "Customers" ) 6) As the season progressed, it was obvious to most, that the Young Team, though full of effort, lacked experience, and the ability to score goals. They were not Street Wise for the League 7) Also, as the season progressed, Fans became disallusioned at the product on offer, and stayed away in Thousands His act of resigning last week led to the biggest Home attendance of the season IMHO, it is only No 8, that Lowe can truly take credit for PS: By overseeing Leisure Holdings demise into Administration, he has added YET ANOTHER "FAILED" Company to his already impressive "Failed" Listt

I share the same feeling of relief (ie No Lowe), but I also think that our current Squad CAN avoid Relegation In that instance, the 10 point penalty would be a kick in the teeth, bearing in mind Derby got away with the same situation a few years back So, as regards my earlier post, IF we get a New Owner PDQ, would we still have the 10 points against us THIS season ??? -

Question ?? We are (ie The Holding Company) is in Administration. That MAY be interpreted by the Football League, to include Saints, and therefore we would incur a 10 point penalty What happens, if all goes well, and an Investor(s) are found quickly, so as to enable "Us" to come out of Administration, and "resume" as a viable Business Is the 10 point penalty STILL applied ??? -
What an absolute Tosser !!!! The Club are in debt, fighting for it's very survival, with a Team and system forced upon it by Lowe The Football Brain Results have been poor to say the least, the atmosphere at St Mary's not what it should be THEN Within days of Lowe Kra**ing all over us by putting Leisure Holdinggs into Administration ........ he RESIGNS Suddenly, amidst all the Bad news .... GOOD News ...... the Cancer that is Lowe is gone Saints V Charlton ...... very close to a Full House If THAT does not tell prospective Investors something, then nothing one will COYR
