This is drifting off topic I maintain that under Markus, HIS "dream" Project(s) was to get us able to Qualify for the CL. His 5 year plan was Phase one of that so to speak As it happened we came pretty darn close within those 5 years Regrettably, Markus was not around to see the end of his 5 year Project Katharina was, and whilst she honoured her fathers Project, her aspirations are NOT the same as what Markus's was So, as owner, she reined things in to HER liking, which fell short of pushing SFC onwards and upwards. THAT caused the rift with Cortese, made Poch's mind up about moving on, and caused the Players to rethink their futures too Time for YOU to take a reality check as well, unless of course you are happy with things are panning out ?? Reality is hoping we can finish above the relegation places, and you won't get very good odds from the Bookies on that, and they are pretty much on the ball.

Why not ?? If a player is not picked, he still gets paid. The Club have to "afford" the wages then Last time I recall it happening Big Time at SFC was when Mark Wright "fell out" with Lawrie Mac. I think Lawrie sent him to train with the youngsters for a while Lawrie won the argument

THAT was carried on by his appointed CEO, Cortese SAME Dream, not a different one The "change" came when that Five years was over. Then Katharina (who had carried out her father's Project), implemented HER Project, which is completely different So completely different as to make the CEO and Manager walk, closely followed by our Top players, making reference to the NEW direction that Katharina is taking SFC

Which was exactly Pochettino's remit when he was appointed So, IF the intention of Katharina is (still) to achieve SFC to qualify for a European place, why change the Goalposts so much as to make the CEO, Manager, and Players to want OUT. At the end of last season, we had a Team not far short of a Top Six Finish Now, with a lot of luck, we will have a Team who will do well to finish above the bottom three

As regards Fonte, I think Koeman is assessing whether or not he can"mould" Osvaldo into a 100% dedicated Saints player If he can, we have an Italian International. If he can't, SFC will have to sell at a big loss Cork ?? Haven't got a clue

" I mean, our first Prem League match is not until 16th August, thats a whole nine weeks away Plenty of time to get in the six (by then it will be six) Quality first team replacements, and that's just to address the Status Quo Plenty of time (hopefully) to introduce them to each other, ( ie first name terms preferably ) , and gel them together a a Team Yet, as you say, it is surprising what some people are thinking, especially when the Club had reasured the fans by saying that they wanted to keep all of our star players I knew exactly what they meant. I mean, I WANT a New house, car, loadsa money etc ........... but It Aint Gonna Happen Now, if Reed had said " we WILL keep etc etc , now that puts a different slant to it But, of course that's why his video interview was conducted by an employee of the Club, with pre agreed Questions so as not to stir up the Sh*t that was coming

He LEFT, because he had no alternative. When Katharina had changed the goalposts so much, the "Project" was nothing like it had been under Markus. ( Yes I know KL was there most of the 5 year Markus Plan) But, once she had honoured her Fathers Project, she changed the Rules , Big Time Cortese left because of the change of direction by Katharina, followed by Pochettino, and now the Players. They want an Ambitious Club aiming upwards. We were in that category, but the Players now think we are not. And as next season will be a survival battle IMHO, our only "ambition" will be to stay in the Premier League
