It is very sad that some people thrive on negativity and will always see things half empty rather than half full. I don't understand all this hatred towards him. i use to listen to him on talksport a lot and he did mention the saints a number of times. But remember he only played a few years here. But he played for Norwich, chelsea, middlesbrough, ireland, so he has got a number of clubs to mention.

I love Barney's temper, the guy fights for 90 mins and shows great spirit. He gets kicked around a lot and I think he handles it superbly. He will be a cult hero.

The problem with our scoring is simply pressure. The players are aware they must get promoted. Because they have missed quite a lot of opportunities it has effected them and every game when they go to shoot all they think about is 'what if i miss?' Once saints start getting wins regularly the confidence infront of goal will improve. At the moment I'm happy to dig out close shave wins.

It is a pressure thing, the players are struggling with the pressure of promotion.

When I first heard the podcasts 5 years ago, I wasn't sure if Pilkington was genuine or not. Having listened to the xfm shows, podcasts and video clips he is for certain totally genuinely stupid.
