  1. It isn't surprising that ITV are so short of ideas they are showing this tripe. I seem to recall a show called 'man oh man' not long ago. I like to think the British public have common sense and the viewing figures will be so bad, they won't commission any more series.
  2. Aidy Boohroyd needs to be shot dead, something about his teams we struggle with.
  3. Robbie Earle is only on because ITV need a black guy on there to keep the quota. Although John Barnes spoke too quickly, he had more charisma than Earle. Talksport do have some good pundits but unfortunatly they all break in to a big argument with each other every night. Which is something talksport insist on doing to get people to phone up. When Lineker first started he wasn't very good but given time he is now very good. Hansen is good but he never had a good word to say about saints.
  4. Wickham vineyards has taken 14 branches in the Hants/Dorset area. The branches that are closing locally are Threshers in Fairoak and the Threshers in Stockbridge road, Winchester. They have a week left of trading (if anything is left). Branches in St James road, Alresford, Chandlers ford, Lyndhurst, Week, Winchester high street, Ringwood and Romsey are all going to Wickham but they are selling off old Thresher stock at 25% off. (It ain't that great a deal as its all expensive anyway)
  5. The local in Thornill and woolston and the threshers in fair oak are holding clearance sales.
  6. I work part time for Threshers and the company has been so badly managed for the last few years. Prices too high and shops that would be shut instantly if health and safety officers visited. Nearly all wine racks, threshers and locals nationwide are going or have gone. Locally only branches in Romsey, Winchester, Ringwood, St james Road, chandlers ford, alresford and lyndhurst are going to be taken over. The rest of them, grab what you can as they will all be closed by the 20th dec
  7. You only have to look at the size of a lot of football supporters to see that 2 hours without food or drink is not possible, 2 mins is a struggle for most of them.
  8. It isn't surprising really, Journalism in this country is awful. Their idea of research is asking their colleague across the room, so using wikipedia is probably normal. And when you see a quote from 'a close friend' or 'on looker' it means 'someone we have made up to make the story a little more real'
  9. Let's rest Pardew too. 2 games and no wins is not good form and his voice needs to be rested for the big games. So bring in Wilkins to do some shouting and Downes in to punch up the oppositions bench
  10. Has been given chances, failed to deliver. Move the dead wood on.
  11. The days of Andy Ritchie and the plastic pitch are still with me and 20 years on, it's a game im dreading.
  12. Although suspicious of a director of football role, Coppell is a highly respected man, quiet, intellegent and knows the game. He will know to Respect Pardew and his role and Pardew will do the same. This won't be the case of some italian or foreign guy coming in and flexing their muscles. If this comes true, it will be a marvellous investment in taking the club further.
  13. With Downes there, It will make watching the dugout more fun than watching on the pitch. I wonder if Henderson is going to leave then?
  14. It's not like he was trying to fiddle the result of the match. He only placed a bet to get a throw in the first minute, big deal.
  15. Just look, the majority of that front row have all gone.
  16. Let's not be held to ransom, forget him and target someone who wants to play.
  17. Anyone know who the new goalkeeper coach was? Bald guy with a moustache, had the initials SM on his shirt?
  18. I welled up too, especially when they showed that little montage For Markus. He looked quite a hulk of a man, spray him green and he looks like Baron greenback from dangermouse
  19. Getting Alan Pardew in league 1 would be a very good move. To get a manager from the higher leagues to work at a lower level shows the ambition the club has.
  20. It will be interesting if the whole club gets restructured. Will we be seeing new coaches in the youth setup? Hopefully investment will be put in to the youth academy and we can start building the scouting network up again. I hope Stuart Henderson gets to stay on, he has lasted through the years so must be doing something right.
  21. The premiership was like a feast at a table and everyone wanting a grab at it. People were enjoying the feast and wanted more and more and still they continue to want more. There will become a point when that feast will no longer be able to continue. By the sounds of our Markus, he has the foresight to see this and will be ambitious but sensible, so come the football crisis, Southampton will be ahead of the rest.
  22. 'Absoutely'. Mark Dennis is great. It's great to hear someone who doesn't care what he says.
  23. Iain Dowie would be a good bet to place
