I'm off to University in October, so I am just looking forward to my last game as a Southampton F.C ballboy. If we get promotion that would be probably the best two years' "work" I'll ever do. I'll be in my usual spot, ball-boying the away sides' dugout and technical area and hopefully it will be a case of celebrations like Chaplow's goal against Manchester United and not the head in hands bewilderment I felt when the entire Portsmouth bench celebrated right in front of me.

Coventry build up thread
MINIBARCELONASAINT replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
I debriefed the game, drew a blue line under it and have moved on to the next one, entirely focused on winning a game of football. We've got an honest group of hard working professionals that are all pulling in the same direction to get this magnificent football club back where it belongs. Adkins has done his homework and we will want to get a grip of the ball early on and play football because we have 32,000 fans, great fans, that let us play positive football. Coventry may be relegated but I have read Sun Tzu the Art of War and you never underestimate the opposition, so we are going to control the controllables and win a game of football. It is as simple as that. -
Which pub would you recommend in Southampton to watch the match?

3 players you would take from the NPC

I'd definitely disagree on Ward. -
Though just to be the in-house pedant, until Reading kicked off, as we were already 1 and then 2-0 up, we were in fact top of the league.

The best bit about that video is the soundtrack. What a banging tune, that.

West Brom, Aston Villa and Birmingham if they go up. I'll be at the University of Birmingham. -

Dan Seaborne to play for the Development Squad Today

"Nearly 2-0 to Saints as Seaborne rises highest in the box to head a Ward-Prowse corner towards goal, but it's blocked on the line" Heading, then. -

A few home games back, just into the opposition half (Northam end), Itchen side, a ball came down from well up and Rickie trapped it superbly with an outstretched leg. I was absolutely amazed and then I saw his face: he was absolutely amazed. He's just so likable. -
