  1. trevor Sinclair??? (he's got a pineapple on his head..) I remember he came on for Wednesday at the dell at half time when we were 2-0 up and playing well, and he ran us ragged and we lost 2-3 and then he ran us ragged a couple of times after that...
  2. Just watched corkies post match interview - officially saints great! Personally MOM, great performance, deserved the start 1000%
  3. classic big striker, little striker - remember Crouch and Philips...? did ok for them...
  4. that's an interesting fact - any links to that..? i'd be interested in looking into the case they are arguing....
  5. ha! the jouno's at Fox/NewsCorp are so ill informed, I am surprised they can find their way to the keyboard... TBH.. the more we are underestimated... the more under prepared teams are - the more we'll kick their arse's
  6. to be fair old nick - I did say 'on paper..'
  7. very pleased with the transfer window overall... Lallana, shaw and lovern were always going to move... lambert was a shame as he was a legend - but IMHO this would have been his last season, and from the bench at that... chambers was a shock and disappointing - but whichever way you look at it - 16m for an 18 yo who has played 20 games is good business. yes he will be the future of England etc... but he went to the Arse and who has ever refused them...? the other outs..? meh... fringe players (gotta love Jos though..!) potatochino - got the team playing good stuff but IMHO tactically limited - as spurs will find out so while the media hyped things up, and lots over people on here wet themselves - I was quite relaxed the money we brought in, along with the manager we now had, I thought we would do good business... the best business of the window - Koeman and keeping morgan I think no one can disagree (with any rational argument) that the new team is on paper, at least as good and probably better than last years so looking at the transfer window as a whole... POSITIVE AND A SUCCESS IMHO COYR!!!

    Shane Long

yes the fee was a bit steep, I reckon 10m would have ben about right... but I really like shane Long as a player, works really hard, scores goals and is a real handful for defenders thereby making space for other players to attack I think peoples tune will change as the season goes on - I think he and pelle will make a great strike force so I am at least one who thinks he is a positive addition
  9. Be honest - GR has been a disappointment. If his wage comes off the bill to sign Mane.... That's okay by me...

i'd be very happy indeed if SL signs, great fit for us IMHO, I had hoped we'd be in for him before now... if this is a Les Reed deal - well done Les!!! TBH - the likes of henandez was never gonna come to saints - too far up his own opinion of himself...
  15. Well done - u must be proud
  16. I think SL would be a good addition - £10m is a fair chunk, but most prem strikers would command something around that and more...
  17. well said..!
  18. AHHHH WHEN WE TRANSFER IN BETTER WUMS!!!!!! I CAN'T STAND THIS, THE BOARD IS TAKING ALL THE £5 AND HOARDING THEM - I HATE SAINTS, I HATE ANYBODY WHO IS A FAN AHHHH!!!!

  22. so, just spent the early evening speaking to a dutch colleague, and when we got around to football and i mentioned that RK was inline to be our next manager - he could not have been more enthusiastic - he said RK is a brilliant manager, is brilliant at developing the youth team and that one of the current dutch team would defo follow him ( i don't remember his name, but he was the short arse the pinged the 35 yard pass for RVP to volley in the other night...) anyway he raved so much about RK - he got me so excited that i felt i had to share it with u all..!!!
