  1. tbh i'm pretty worried about the pompey game.... it will be the third game in a week, the lads will be knackered! trouble is, everything is a priority init, league, jpt & FACup
  2. sitting high up, rightin the middle, like i did, is a very good view you can see the whole game unfold... however, i have sat all over the place in the past and it amazes me the different perspecitive you get from the different heights, almost a different games sat at pitch level opposed to high up. (not that wenger has any excues for his ' i didn't see it line!!)
  3. boring boring boring. same old few get their handbags out and start *****ing at each other and what was a good thread about saints actually WINNING, becomes about a few people who can't accept that other people have different views to them. time to give up on this thread. shame.....
  4. i think what AP is doing in his interviews is pretty savvy... He knows there is a lots wrong with the team and that huge improvements are required, but by not slagging the players off too much, but hinting they are below par, he both publicly tells them they need to improve and tell his boss he needs to buy some more better players. At the same time he is telling us, the fans, that he can also see the bleeding obvious and he will do his best to improve the team but please be patient.... good strategy i think and he should be given time to get this bunch playing... however like all of us, i am just too impatient and just want wins!!!! COYR!!!!!
  5. the shame is all the optimism will wither away a die. and why oh why can't AP sign CBs? it is sooooooo obvious
  6. its been pretty difficult for me being a saints fan living in pompey recently, but not as difficult as when saints were above them! i think most pompey fans, when not trying to look good in front of saints fans, realise what a precarious position the club is in, and actually expect the worst. they have seen what has happened to saints and can see the same heading their way. however my opinion, which was the same during the saints takeover, is that the club WILL survive, someone, maybe not the Dr, WILL buy it and as for their performance this season, well football is a funny old game and who knows.... but at the moment i think they are hoping the premier league turns into t 5 a side league.... as thats pretty much all they have.... COYR
  7. hassle... hoff - sweet as... the best post on here for about 6 weeks!!!!!!
  8. the 3-1 win over pompey at st marys recently. i was in melbourne in a pub full of skates and my mate who was also a skate. ohh it was sweet. but wished i'd been there. gave my ST to me mum!!! :-)
  9. keegan would be a great signing as manager as he is the type of manager players will stay for / sign for / play for. he hasn't exactly got a bad record as a coach, but more importanly a big nme manager like keegan would get players to, come, play and stay + the crowds would generate more money, and say what you like, we have to survive and we need the money. certain fans might not like him, but players do! and thats a good thing
  10. he's buying a premier league club, in the best league in the world. if saints were there he might have bought us.... but we're not...and a long way from it. absolutely nothing to do with the city
  11. i think its a great idea... then all the moaners can go on that forum and moan there as well
  12. well said:smt041 i can't be arsed to argue with anyone on here b'cos at the end of the day we all really want the best for the team COYRs
  13. deluded like 'administration is a good thing'
  14. why anyone would want us to go into administration is beyond me. a club of our size will return to the top flight eventually as long as the support is there. stay away if you want, clearly you r fair weather fans... say what you want about lowe, and i am no fan of the man personally but while he was in charge we were financially stable, including dealing with the drop. we previously had the best squad we had had in 2 decades?, reached the fa cup and consistently top half. was it lowe's fault that WGS walked? ok lowe wouldn't give him the money he wanted but his job was to look after the finances not blow it all and risk the club. and don't start on the manager thing... it was the players that lost 15 points in the last 5 minutes of games the relegation season... we would have been top half otherwise... i listen quietly to everyone on here but i am just fed up with all the crap being siad, people need to wake up and smell the coffee UNTIL WE HAVE A POSITIVE BANK BALANCE, WE CAN START TO BUY AND BUILD. we are in survival mode for a couple of years yet. so get behind your club
