i think Jaidi is getting a bit past it now. he is a man mountain when things come at him, but if he has to move quickly to cover or find space, he doesn't seem to have it in the locker. his distribution on Saturday was poor, and although others were obviously involved, i think he was partly at fault for both the goals we have conceeded. plymouth he misqueued and LO it was pressure on him that caused his mis pass that lead to the corner.

i think he is a good player, and put in 2 of the best early crosses of the game. jadia had a shocker though, again - in fact i don't think that left corner of defence is operating right. harding likes to get forward too much and leave jadia exposed. i'm all for going forward but someone needs to drop in to the LB position as jadia can't cope. this team management is easy from the stand ain't it!!! haha

i take that as being ironic, right? :-) it can't be business as usual if the club ends up with MALI then they won't want it if it ends up with son/daughter the have they the money needed to invest. the club cannot be entirely self funding if we are going to get in to the PL - absolutely no way!!

do we think that the level of funding ML RIP would be prepared to invest as a fan of saints will be matched by whoever owns saints now? would MALI be interested in putting the same level of money in we will require, would his son/daughter? football clubs rarely make money, quite the opposite... very sad and uncertain times :-(

i was there and thought that was exactly what they did..... and it will be what a lot of teams will do at this level... we do need to find a solution to this and if it means changing tactics or another a couple of new players, then we need to do it. it will like this almost every game when teams fear us in this way...

Living in Pompey as I do, I watched the game with some pompey ST holder friends. Tbf they were very complimentory, however the scorline still really ****ing sucks we were not bad at all, they were.... Fortunate, but equally took their chances well... Doesn't help but most of my Pompey mates think they were lucky, but 4-1 really really isn't fair and really hurts!!!! Bo ho:-(

no what significance is the jpt to anyone, it the southern area final of some **** pot trophy. ok so you get to go to wembley... for me, much better to beat pompey and go to wembly for real in the fa cup final..... so there...! :-)

sadly i don't think we get to the playoffs, wtf is the JPT, so for me, beating pompey is the best we will achieve this season (obviously then getting to wembley and winning the fa cup!)
