Could you let me know the name of the podcast? I'd like to give that a listen 👍

Palace 0-2 Saints. Wild celebration reaction thread.

I’ve always though Shane Long was a great player, always a real handful, chases balls down, leaps like a salmon... if he put away even 50% of the chances that come to him, he would be a top top striker.... and probably not playing for us I think we get the best from him tbh... love the guy.... -
Careres has looked good in the games I’ve seen... and I don’t remember him being especially crap in the few games he played for us.... anyone know why we didn’t sign him..?
-
I can see that flying header in my minds eye like it was yesterday... I'd love him back at the club in some capacity...
-
OMG - I actually agree with Glasgow... Great display yesterday, tough result to swallow... but we have only played well this season with our first choice 11... rotation just seems to break our rhythm...
-
Sad but inevertable
-
I think he's about as good as we are likely to get tbh...
-
Bertrand only took that one last season because he was the only outfield player on the pitch who hadn't scored that season

http://www.thefightingcock.co.uk/forum/threads/summer-2016-transfer-window-thread.15210/page-420 The same could have described Sadie Mane tbh... Also this article - http://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2015/the-darker-side-of-sofiane-boufal/ - forcibly preventing Tallo from taking the spot-kick. - Boufal appeared selfish - manager Hervé Renard was forced to separate Sofiane Boufal and Junior Tallo - L’Équipe reported a training ground incident between central defender Renato Civelli and Sofiane Boufal - his self-centred attitude off the pitch is hurting LOSC’s results on it. - manager asking Boufal "do you care"

If someone doubles your wages, you would move, however with the £5m compensation + whatever was budgeted for Ron's new offer, the next saints manager budget could be £5m+ p/a for 3years. THAT will get you a serious top 10 worldly manager So bye Ron, see ya... And £100m budget - who thinks that's special, seriously it's meh... £200m... Yeah I'm impressed, but £100m, Nah, good for you if you think that's special... So well done Everton if you think you've scored a coup, we will get a better manager than Ron, spend and sell wisely and March on..!
-
Does any one else think £100m transfer fund sounds... A bit meh... It's not really 'all guns blazing' ambition kinda money is it..? Sure Ron would go for a double your money job, but in today's prem, £100m isn't that impressive, I bet we spent £60m+

LOL, that is hilarious !!

#AskPahars: Marians Pahars answering questions from Saints fans

When will we see him at a game...? I'm sure he'd get a fantastic reception... -
i thought this was a foot injury and not his knee..? i guess one could effect the other, but they weren't directly linked as it were...
-
didn;t egil ostinstad score 2(+1) against ManU at the dell in the 6-3..?
-
legend!!! i've no idea if he is any good as a manager, but i'd love it if was to come and be a success...
-
it would be quite funny to have collection buckets for AFC Bournemouth around the place at the game just to remind them of their debt to SFC... i for one,put a fair few quid into saving them back in the day
-
To be fair to all involved, if United come in Jan with a £25m+, £100k/w bid, Sadio will be gone... so who could we we bring in for lower teams / abroad of similar qualities...? Eden Hazard..? ;-)
-
Good, I can stop hating Liverpool now
-
Adkins did it a couple of times IIRC - i always thought it was a good idea... it allows us an immediate outlet (position defined in training, therefore any player clearing the ball already knows where to punt it) and gives the opposition something unexpected to think about. i was thinking exactly this on Sunday - esp when they were down to 10

How do you make a quality player stay at Saints!
simondo replied to Saint Billy's topic in The Saints
i think the argument to buy players from the top 6 clubs that haven't made it, and therefore have something to prove is a good one.. however if they then do well and a top 6 come calling, they'll be off just as quickly... the only way to keep them is £££... and then it would have to be a lot more £££ than a top 6 club would offer to counter not playing in CL etc... i think we have to accept the situation and just ensure Saints gets the best from the player while they are our and then gets the top dollar when the move.... -
Just got back from the game The first half formation really exposed the full backs who both got roasted - too much to do after that I though Romeu came on and played well, and the formation worked much better but by then, the damage was done. Target was better second half, but Cedric was terrible and got worst
