  1. He knows quite a few people who are Pompey fans he says. Explains a lot. What a f****** ****** that man is.
  2. Makes sense - he draws attacking players back because of defenders lack of speed, usually there are both left sided opposition players tracking him and another being pulled out from the middle by Lallana.
  3. I think he's great. Can't cross though. Think Adkins said on the radio he see's im as more of a forward than a winger.
  4. Also what I heard.
  5. May be something in that. Could be that the club did it this way as it's basically a first for all at Southampton. Other clubs that scout from South America etc. have more experience in managing international transfers.
  6. Do you work for the council?
  7. Fantastic! We can finally get rid of the Tories!!!
  8. Bristol City should have won 3-0. Hard to believe that was the same team from the Middlesbrough match. Back to the drawing board.
  9. I was looking at those stats earlier and thinking they were a good argument for another forward. Guly, whether you are a fan or not, was not in form today and we had no other option.
  10. Well you look like a t**t now.
  11. Was looking at the live table and didn't realise!
  12. Going into tomorrow's game second then.
  13. If I had loads of cash and everyone knew I had loads of cash I would probably leak a story to a newspaper saying that I had no cash as well.
  14. He seemed really really bored...
  15. Adkins comments post match about players hiding minor knocks from him was a little worrying. I guess it's good that they all really want to play though.
  16. I hope they don't dissapear. Don't want Brighton & Bournemouth as our only local rivals. Apart from that it's pretty funny though.
  17. I hate it if I notice it.
  18. Is "We can see you holding hands" really homophobic? Surely it's only offensive if you are on the receiving end and are homophobic?
  19. To be honest, by the same token, "forgetting" to wear a poppy is more cretinous.
  20. Really depends where you are. Of the 5 or 6 capitals in Europe I've visited I prefer all to London (Berlin excluded). You are right in that Hampshire is one of the best places to live in the world, even if I grew up there and am biased. On the other hand, a lot of places in the South Med are like that culturally (taking years to build a seemingly simple road etc), and I don't think the currency will change that. Even if they had a stable currency their private contractors on public works are always going bust or just taking years to finish a project which should take weeks. My point was merely that if I compare the receipts of food shopping from say 6 months ago and today, deleting the items which do not appear on both, I would notice and increase of around 50% - which is not reflected by the false exchange rates propagated by our Kraut friends.
  21. Living in the Eurozone myself. Am keeping some Sterling in my wallet just in case. Inflation is a lot higher than reported at the moment. Especially on food.
  22. Was thinking the same thing. I Google image searched it and the result was a variety of different jackets & they were all very shiny.
  23. I always find singing "**** off back to Scotland" at Newcastle fans brilliant.
