  1. From what I am reading into the Italian reports, provisionally Cagliari agreed €10m, but now say they want €12m.
  2. Tutto Napoli - local rag like the Echo here, but quoting Mediaset the largest media company in Italy: http://www.tuttonapoli.net/?action=read&idnotizia=130385
  3. Decent translation...
  4. Worth a tenner IMO
  5. Sorry I translated the last sentence wrong, instead of: "The negotiations should be successful, the player will earn €10 million over four years" It should read: "Should the negotiations be successful, the player will earn €10 million over four years"
  6. From La Gazzetta Dello Sport (fairly reputable) at 11:05 this morning: "11.05 — Situazione Ramirez. (Nicola Zanarini)" Roughly: "Situation Ramirez: Decision time for the sale of Gaston Ramirez. The President of Bologna, Guaraldi, interrupted his holidays in Sardinia to fly to Southampton with [delegate] Zanzi, where they met the player's Uruguayan agent, Bentancourt. To close the deal the English club must immediately pay €15 million or pay a balloon payment and then another €5-7 million within a specified time. The negotiations should be successful, the player will earn €10 million over four years. (Nicola Zanarini)"
  7. Brilliant. Was looking for one of them yesterday when I saw the article on the BBC but couldn't get on the site because there was too much traffic. Are there many more of Southampton? What's the site again?
  8. I boycotted going to matches from relegation until Lowe went, so I did "return" in that sense. Started going again in League 1. Now I only get to go 5 or 6 times a season because I live abroad though, so will be really annoyed when I can't get a ticket on short notice because of the glory hunters.
  9. From twitter: mattletiss7: @themichaelowen maybe the warmer south coast should be your next destination mate better for your muscles :-) themichaelowen: @mattletiss7 Open to offers!!!
  10. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17859433 Nige on the Art of War. Did't see it posted elsewhere.
  11. Well what exactly do you do in Botley then?
  12. 2nd - I didn't say we would finish second. 2nd - I never said we would finish second in the Prem, was just asking if any team had ever finished 2nd in 3 separate consecutive leagues. 2nd - Yes.
  13. Just out of interest, is there any teams in the history of football who have finished 2nd in 3 separate consecutive leagues?
  14. Skate troll.
  15. As ****ed off as I am, that 25 mins looks better than most 90 mins I have watched in the Prem this year. Says something.
  16. 4 penalties to Reading then.
  17. Their, there, they're. Not really that difficult. Talk about ****ing on your own bonfire. Would have been funny otherwise.
  18. Pretty sure this is the guy that shot it: http://www.christopherleephotography.co.uk His email and mobile number are on his website. Maybe he will sell you a print for personal use?
  19. He said: "I suppose there's not a million candidates, you know, Roy Hodgson and Sam Allardyce and whoever. "And there's some young managers like Nigel Adkins and people like that, who in the future, I'm sure, would be fantastic, but, at the moment, probably too young. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7596340/Age-an-England-issue-for-Harry
  20. You all require serous psychoanalysis.
