Survey says we're Bompey's biggest rival....
Dellman replied to doubleonothing's topic in The Saints
I want all the 'locals' to do well, except our one and only real rivals who are close to extincton anyway. The club I love to hate is not local at all, it's Leeds I can't stand. We must never forget Kelvin last time we played them... -
The Dyer thing was stupid, crass and wrong but not violent, neither was it repetitive; there's a very big difference.

NC has got the sort of manager he wants-young, modern, thoughtful and with integrity- he is not going to swap that for any of the unemployed old lags who have been round the block a dozen times, even if things get tight. Anyway, with the squad he's building, things won't get tight.
-
Yes it's an idiotic thred, 'Arry is more likey to bre behind bars than be appointed by NC
-
Excuse me...how is 31,600 or whatever it was 'dispponting' for the last match?
-
Thanks PES but NC is not running rough shod over this fan however much you may wish it---he's delivering exactly the goods, thank you very much
-
It's so sad! Our greatest player (except for Terry P) who held me and thousands beyond Southampton speelbound with unique skill, now behaving like a spoilt baby, Oh Matt please stop twittering
-
No move for fans to buy Saints was made because we were told that Pinnacle led by MLT was a serious buyer, who was going to try and oppose Tiss? In fact it turned out he was taken for a mug but another was waiting ...we were a good investment, can't say the same about poor Pompey
-
let's face it, our beloved Matt has had his day, it was a wonderful day but it's gone and won't come back. We're in a new era and it promises to be equally wonderful in a different way. MLT needs to accept that, as much as we do.
-
Nigel will stay and we will be that much bigger club
-
MLT was my idol, I loved him and thought the whole England side should have been built round his genious but since he retired he has been a pain and that whole pinnacle nonsense showed that his genious was left on the pitch.
-
Getting 'Arry to manage would be like getting Heskey or Owen to play, we're now young and modern the exact opposite of that lot
-
The days of signing old lags who spend their time nursing injuries are over and thank NA and NC for that!
-
They're welcome and more the merrier

Who is the best SFC player you saw as a youngster
Dellman replied to Miltonroader07's topic in The Saints
Stevie Williams for me -
We would be buying a problem, and an ageing one
-
I doubt we will have heard of the guy, he will come from the unknown-like Tandari Lee-and I like it that way because they bring the enthusiasm of having to prove themselves, it's going to be an interesting bus load, I'm looking forward to it!
-
Noooooooooooooooo thank you, we are looking for the young and hungry not the old and jaded
-
He wont settle for the right wage and in any case he's the very sort of over the hill injury prone luxury we don't want,,,Tandari Lee has the future
-
Can any one tell me what has happened to Danny Briggs?
-
Yes, i couldn't believe my ears. Is there any other country in the world that would boo its own anthem, what's wrong with us?

South-coast pendulum swings Southampton's way
Dellman replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
Its trivial stuff, the writer has missed the point that Saints were bought by a straight dealer of integrity and Portsmouth fell into the hands of as succession of criminals, nothing similar in that -
No one will want to go because NC and NA have obviously made a secure and successful environment to be in. So it may not be as easy as it sounds but the squad could easily get too big, so something has got to give
