How many CBs do you want? No.10 yes.

No need to hate him. He lost a lot of his money. It proved much worse for him than for us. We got out of it ok. He didn't. He is the loser. Be sorry for him and wish him well.

Take your money and go down the road, they need fans like you

I was sick of Man U in the days of 'Fergie time' but they seem quite harmless these days and Ole S even had them playing with a smile--and losing. Liverpool, on the other hand, I cannot tolerate. They have the most self serving fans convinced everyone owes them a living, they are fawned over by the media and I will never get over the way they ruined our club and won the title and Euro Championship on the strength of our players. I would even support those down the road against Liverpool

If I remember rightly Alan Ball walked out for Man City and left us with no manager as the season began. Dave M stepped in because he was on the payroll as Youth team coach and filled the gap. The good thing was we stayed up and Man City went down, and it all hung on the last match!

Yes, a guy called Le Tissier was holding it up in favour of a jewish guy from North London who proved to be penniless, if I remember rightly.

What is the great Danny doing for Villa?

That's what happens in Premier League, every club needs cover for every position and both expect top pay, so it would not be 'odd' but normal.
-
WE didn't con them. They knew what they were getting. They both played in the game we mustn't mention.

Brexit is not paying the dividends promised, in fact it is causing problems ahd people are realising it.

Thanks for posting. No surprise, he has always been a gentleman.

Whoever takes the corners and however good they are, who have we got who can head a goal--Jack Stephens did once, didn't he? But who else?
-
Sounds utterly selfish, me me me, a Boris type, this is the root of the problem
-
Do we know what he was promised before he signed? He may have expected to play every match but that is a different matter.
-
Bit gloomy, not the match I saw. Palace are a good side this year and we came out of it with a lot of credit.
-
Yes, it is time someone said that. He has been maligned on this Forum, like FF before him, to such an extent that I wonder 'are these people supporters or aliens from down the road'

Mine was at the Dell at the end of the war against Luton (there were no leagues at that time) we scored ELEVEN, a chap called Alf Ramsey scored four of them (I think) and from memory Luton got 3. I was about 8 at the time and thought it would be like that every week!

Pompey used to be my most despised club but now they are not worth bothering about Liverpool have replaced them. Always think they are victims when they are spoiled brats
-
Looking at that line up I would say we are a better team today, in every department. Interesting there are only three survivors.

Our appeal to a buyer is that we are NOT big already but have the potential for big development both in the Club and in the surrounding environment. No profit in buying something already at capacity.
-
What's it matter who is bigger? What matters is we've been in the Premier League for the last ten years, they haven't. We may be smaller which makes that achievement bigger.

Leeds has been a sleeping giant for years, I hoped it would stay that way because I knew once they woke up the potential is unlimited. I lived there five years in the Revie-Bremner period, they were a vile lot and when they sank I hoped they would stay sunk but now the revival is on--look out!

WE are better than last year. Most of the time we are really very good, often dominating matches--till half time. The tea

I would say his biggest issue is our own 'fans' who have bollocked him mercilessly whatever he does
