There was a hostile outburst when we signed Theo for that sort of role
-
EAsy to talk about Ralph and bullets but no sensible suggestion about who would be available and better
-
People here seem to want Ralph out, well, form has been terrible since Christmas and today's signs are a bit gloomy but SR have invested and chosen players the management has identified so they are unlikely to sack the man they have backed. We've got these players on quite long contracts, if they do well we will lose them but if they are crap we are stuck with them and their wages for a long while. A manager's life is not an easy one. And who would we get? If Poch was willing I would say 'yes please, tomorrow' but apart from him--who?
-
Dear Ralph what ever you do make sure you never pay the slightest attention to this forum, the stuff written on here convinces me we have been infiltrated and taken over by agents from down the road, there is hate mail round every Saints player and especially the manager, definitely hostile agents at work
-
It's also the first season Ralph has actually had some backing financially and with support staff, so far he has kept us in the Premier League working without a budget and with very limited quality. Thanks Ralph---now let's go!
-
There have been rumours about Delap, off the radar at the moment, but can anyone tell me what he has done to make him so wanted. I've only heard of his Dad
-
We had Broja last year and look how many goals we didn't score, the present Board are more ambitious and I am expecting an improvement on Broja who is heavily over rated on this forum
-
What is the obsession with Broja? He's not coming and when he was here his contribution was erratic. We will do better (soon I hope)
-
WHO has called him 'star boy'.?
-
There is a lot of hope pinned on Delap. I remember his Dad but has the son ever done anything in Premier Lg or the Cup to get excited about?
-
We don't know his value behind the scenes, maybe its greater than we know, he seems a regular guy and a Southampton enthusiast, possibly he has a long term future with us
-
That's not second language problem, its perfect English and perfectly true. What's wrong with telling it as it is?
-
As Lawrie Mac used to say 'some players need an arm round the shoulder, some players need a kick up the backside' Nothing new in that. I expect Ralph dishes out both as required and i guess the one who gets the kick up the backside isn't too happy
-
Quite right! What sort of fan needs to post abuse of the goalkeeper who helped us rise from nowhere to the Premier League in consecutive seasons? Yes, the Leeds match was unforgettable and probably the decisive event of that season but he was the guardian throughout those lovely happy seasons. Why the moans? Thanks Kelvin, great guy, great servant
-
We wont miss you, enjoy Fratton Park lot
-
Oh dear, the boo boys are out already, knives sharpened for our own players. What game were you watching? LYanco did well alongside Stephens, a welcome surprise and Valery who I haven't rated looked good as well. Cheer up mate, or go down the road
-
I hope he gets better treatment from 'fans' than Sadio Mane got, anyway Sadio gor the last laugh 100+ goals and loads of trophies with someone else
-
Yes, it was Terry wot done it
-
Well spotted. Thanks for the laugh, we need it!
-
If we bring in Delap and Mara that's great--you can forget about Ings, he's past it, lost it and won't last the season, he gave us the thumbs down when he got too cocky
-
Absolutely spot on

I hope not. The Club is committed to a long term strategy, he has survived the bad days of no investment from owners, now begins the better part and he will reap the reward he deserves
-
This is pessimistic. We have had a 'window' with investment. We have a new coaching staff. We have a new Head of Recruitment , We have owners who are deeply involved and have a new vision. What's not to like? We will see a fresh dynamism. It may take a while to settle but when it does we will be challenging for Europe. 9th or 10th this season, 6th next season
-
Broja can be exciting to watch but I am not sure he is a team man and I doubt he would make a strike partnership, I am quite satisfied if he goes somewhere else
-
Why did he only play 900 minutes?
