Just had a quick look on the Brighton website and they got allocated 2357 tickets for Bournemouth away. Looks like we will get a few more then I expected us to.
Cotteril said this young kid "didn't have a clue, bless him" and that "I ran out of good players". If I was that player i'd be tempted to knock the c*nt out.
For people listening through Radio Solent I suppose. If there is one thing that annoys me it when Saints are interrupted for some poxy non-league score that nobody gives a sh*t about.
I was just browsing the Bournemouth forum and came across this..Quite an interesting read except the predictable "scum" bit.
To be fair, he stuck around and chatted even though we told him some home truths. We told him he had let us down in the way he acted and he looked close to tears. He admitted he had probably done things wrong in saying he was staying but "couldn't say nothing to the media". He told us that he was a Bournemouth fan and "hecking loves the club - I've been here half my life" so he wouldn't do anything to deliberately harm it.
We told him he should have stayed till the end of the season and he had unfinished business. But he said he had already turned down four clubs and was in risk of looking like "a bottler with no ambition."
"Look at Steve Tilson at Southend - he got them to the Championship and was sacked two years later. Now he's nowhere. I couldn't risk that."
He said it wasn't about the money - as if it was he would have taken up a testimonial he had been owed for four years but didn't want to take money from the club.
He did admit that he had fallings out with EM - "it's obvious" - but that wasn't the reason for leaving.
He also said he had a baby on the way so has to think about his family.
He also said he previously turned down Scum despite them offering six times his salary.
We departed by giving him a hug and telling him we wanted him to be the best manager in the country - but he had let the fans down.
I'd love to know the real truth about what happened between him and Saints.
