Daniel Storey wrote it I think, he’s very good. The line that stands out for me is ‘everybody seems to act as if ugly football is beneath them’. He’s spot on, the arrogance that exudes from this football club is shambolic considering where we find ourselves.

There’s no better time to build a PL team than when you’re actually in the PL. Unfortunately, Martin was too loyal to his pals and SR made some atrocious signings, and we ended up with the steaming pile of shit that started the season. When Forest were promoted they ripped up the entire promotion squad and signed what, 30 players? People thought they were barking but they survived their first year, and the rest is history. It’s all about surviving the first year, as that’s when it’s likely 3 worse teams than you come into the league. We didn’t even fucking try.

I’d say this is pretty much where we are. The cool boss who let you do whatever you wanted with minimal consequences has just been let go. He let you have days off whenever you wanted and brought his ex glamour model mrs on the Christmas party. He’s now replaced with a complete authoritarian who happily tells you you’re fucking useless and get you in doing laps 7 days a week. A true SR masterclass.

I couldn’t give a fuck if Goztepe were European champions. They’ve been an utter disaster for us which is all I care about.
