I don't think you will find many that disagree with too much of that (personally think we will be mid table 8th-12th), but it is exactly what we are. I don't want us bunging £150k pw on a player. We have already copped a couple of bullets in Ramirez & Osvaldo. I believe the model includes that & its a reason we haven't gone back to Italy for South American players. And the most important part. If we go down, we go down with a more sustainable model than many other teams. The alternative, is to pay massive wages & with a capacity of 33000 & the revenue we have we simply cant sustain.

Exactly. Its the reason some of these players sign in the first place. Our pitch probably goes -"do well for us for 2 or 3 seasons & then you can double your wages & play CL football for a top 4 club". FFS, we cant even fill our average size stadium every week, let alone compete with salaries at £100k+ pw for squad players. Mane can be excellent, but he can also be pretty average too. £32m is an outstanding deal & I reckon we believe Redmond can do a similar job for a third of the price.

His attitude last summer was very very poor. In all but, the Arsenal game at home & the last 5 games (shop window) he was pretty sh1te all season. Ive always described him as the best worst player weve ever had. Defensively he is outstanding. Pressing, closing down & protecting the defence he was brilliant. Still don't believe he is a good footballer. I have seen Sunday league footballers who control the ball better, who pass the ball better & general ball mastery is better than he does. I remember many great games, but it will always be tinged with the Liverpool cup game this season where he was totally inept. The header to make it 2-0 was terrible. He is going to be difficult to replace, but he is nowhere near the player Morgan is.

With the exception of Radcliffe (who left to return to the North where he is from) they all went for the cash & dressed it up as ambition. When will people realise the ££££ talk. We aint never gonna change it unless we have an owner who wants to do a Man City. The problem for me is RK saying he was going to honour his contract. My bag, I believed him. Have we all forgot how Wanyama threw a strop?? He has a year on his contract. Someone will pay more than us. He has already said he wants to go. Or Mane being late twice.........Tadic's opta stats are great which actually makes it even worse because he could be so much better.......... Juanmi simply hasn't worked out Pelle is not first choice. I don't think he will be next season either. Truth is we have a stadium that holds 33000 which is quite small compared to the biggest clubs. Our wage bill is nowhere near those in the top 10. Our owner, whilst brilliant, wont bung a £1billion in just for fun. All of that is common knowledge.................to every other team in the world. We are punching way above weight at the moment. Reality check please.

Why are we in the slightest bit surprised?? No doubt Tadic & Wanyama have been a lot better in the last 5 or 6 games of the season, but for long parts they were pretty poor. Juanmi & Pelle is pretty obvious too. Both want to return home, for different reasons, but both can be replaced. Mane is a bit different, but an offer of £30m+ would be a cracking deal. I reckon we can get excellent replacements for less than we would raise from selling them. I'm not worried........

Long drive home, but happy. Rubbish first half, excellent second where CP couldn't live with our pace on the break. Forster MOM for me, 3 excellent saves. So proud of SFC today!!

There is no doubt that Wanyama has been playing much better recently. At that level he is a loss, no doubt. I genuinely don't see how we keep him. He has a year left on his contract. Even if he was our best paid player he could get more elsewhere & he has already shown a desire to leave. I don't think he is easy to replace on his current form, but his early & mid season (Arsenal aside) I think Romeu can do a job. It may also be worth showing him last nights game where Morgan was subbed at half time & looks nowhere near the player he was. There isn't any loyalty in football so wont expect any from Wanyama & IMHO he will leave in the summer.

Thought we were one paced & bang average today. Tadic got 2 goals, but was not at all interested in helping the defence. Whoever is playing behind him is left 2 against 1 very often. Personally surprised people have voted him MOTM. For me it was Romeo. He worked tirelessly & has a far better range of passing than Wanyama, who I have to say was not in the slightest bit interested. If he wants to go, stop playing him. Thought Bertrand kept pushing forward & pressing hard. Jay Rod was a bit rusty, but certainly put the effort in. Long could have scored 5, easily!! Take the 3 points, but you could see RK was far from happy on the sidelines.
