  1. Lowe has & always will be Saints biggest problem.
  2. I have just got back with my 2 boys. First half was as bad a Saints performance as i have ever seen. When Jan walked off to the boo's he looked shocked. After the 3rd goal all the coaching staff just sat or leaned against the dug out with absolutely no idea what to do. Inept is an understatement for how bad we were in the first half. The big difference in the 2nd half was simply effort & belief. My ratings are quite different to AndyNorthernSaints, but here you go Davies 6 His fault for the 2nd, but some great saves afterwards James 5 Try's really hard, but not a great defender Skacel 7 Our best player today - great strike for the goal Perry 4 Some really bad missed timed tackles that missed Burnley players Cork 5 At fault for the 3rd goal, headed accross goal. Almost cost again 2nd half BWP 6 Another who tried, but he aint a left winger Morgan 5 Did not look fit Lallana 6 Poor first half - Great 2nd half Euell 7 Lovely pass for our 2nd goal. A lot better 2nd half McGoldrick 4 He is just not a decent player Surman 6 Ditto Lallana Subs Pearce 6 A reasonable game, but we were 3-0 down Robertson 5 Another who is not up to it We will go down if we play like we did first half - Stop up if we play like we did in the 2nd half! I have never really blamed Jan, but his faith in McGoldrick is a mistake & he does not appear to prepare the players for opposition. It was man against boys for most of the first half. Lowe's experiment is failing. Time to de-list from the exchange & find a buyer our debt. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.............
  3. Very very poor tonight.
  4. As the season goes on I get more & more worried. Toothless up front, light weight in midfield & soft in defence - Not a good recipe. I hope we are better at Burnley on Saturday - they are in form & we could get a hammering. But then again we play better against the better sides! Until Akinbiyi comes on as sub.
  5. If he & Lowe cant work out that a lot of that 26% drop is because of them then they are more ignorant than i thought.
  6. Wolves were sold for a £1 & the debts taken on. Why we be worth anymore than that? Rupert listing this club was purely for self benefit. Increasing his stake by buying £1 shares off old ladies & then listing us on the main exchange. He could not cope with the financial requirements of that so he took us to AIM. Kept paying divi's when he was the largest share holder then buying back shares which meant as a proportion of the company his share holding went up. For god's sake, any sane person would only take on the debt of the company as the break up value of the football club would not even cover the outstanding loans & weekly trading loss. Lowe & Cowan taking a salary in a business where they already recieved severance payments is immoral, but the one wrod you could never associate with Rupert is integrity!
  7. We can understand why we are doing what we are doing ,but Mr Lowe was the single biggest reason we are in this mess & the slightest bit of humility from the man may make the medicine taste a wee bit better.
  8. At 3-1 McGoldrick was through 1 on 1, he hit a very poor shot straight at the keeper. If he had scored I think we may well have got a draw. Lancashire & McGoldrick are not upto yet. They may well be eventually, but at the moment bothe need a break. Cork was poor in the middle & our back four in general were very poor. Stand by what i said at the start of the season. We will finish 16th, lose more than we win, but will do just enough to stay up. I cant blame the players. They are all kids. Kids who need our support. Jan, give McGoldrick & Lancashire a break please.
  9. Very disapointed indeed about this one. Just imagine if we had not bought those share's back when Lowe was last in charge we may have bought a proper centre half to replace Killer or allowed David Moyes to appoint his own asistant? Cut our cloth - what rubbish - Lowe got us into this mess & he is only interested in defending what little shares he has acquired as chairman. One thing is for sure. I will be studying our accounts with great vigour when they are available. How much is Lowe & Cowen taking out?
