You obviously were not at Burnley then!

If only folks could engage in constructive criticism rather than just constantly venting hate ansd spite! Goodness knows this regime is not above some good constructive criticism, but I haven't seen any on this forum! Funny that, I have seen a lot of very constructive criticsm - Did you not read it all?

Personally dont think Lowe has earnt anything from SFC! He was employed by SFC & its board, but actually earning what he was paid is a very very different thing!
-
Lowe has only ever been interested in personal gain. If that coincided with a benefit to SFC that was ok. He then spouted off about his financial acumen which we all know has been way short of what he suggested. Why on earth would Crouch give the club £6m to clear debt & retain such a small portion of the equity? Lowe is simply blowing hot air to try & get people off his back. Sheff Saint, Banks are no longer interested in the rate people are paying it is the risk to capital that they lent which is paramount which means that reducing loans helps their financial strength which in turn should increase their share price & secure their long term well being. Clearing loans out of the system is indiscriminate.

Typical Lowe appointment. We will never do a Leeds! NOT!

MOTD after Saints beat Blackburn. Paul Sturrock has my full backing & is going nowhere - Rupert Lowe. He has a track record for this type of behaviour. The man has absolutely no integrity whatsoever. Never has had.

Excellent Beatle. Summarises very well what I was thinking, unfortunately apathy has ruled my heart & i cant quite get the motivation to do similar (again) & write to those in power at our football club. Bravo!

Everton season ticket holding friend of mine said he was very much 4th choice & the new influx of players were likely to put him even further down the pecking order. A sinking team is not the best place to learn your trade in fairness,

It certainly is my lowest watching Saints for 35 years. My worry is that it will get worse before it gets better & that ***t Lowe does not give a flying fu(k about it. His shares were bought from income derived relegating us once before & he is going to be responsible once again! What a complete arrogant to$$er he is with absolutely no integrity whatsoever. Even friends I have at WH Ireland say he is just a patsy for the real business managers.

I said when he was appointed that it was Lowe's big gamble. Either sublime genius or utter ignorance. Looks like Lowe's gamble has failed big time.
-
Worst mistake? Not backing Strachan when he had the chance after the cup final, but there are so many to choose from it is very difficult.

Just another very sad day under Lowes stewardship. What an utter disgrace the man is. JP wont resign. He paid his way out of Holland & wont leave lightly. Lowe wont admit he is wrong. So sad, so very sad. Michael Wilde has an opportunity to turn again. Please Mr Wilde - rid us of this cancer called Rupert Lowe. I wanted to give JP 12 months, but we simply cant go on like this. He is to far out of his depth. I was thinking of dumping a steaming pile of cow muck on Ruperts drive way. Only problem with that is that he will probably put some shorts on it & ask it to play up front!

A win is a win & even our new Dutch centre half said we did not deserve it, but we desperately needed the 3 points so I am pleased. I suppose the spine of the side looks stronger with David, Size, Morgan& Saga & that could wll make a difference at season end. If the club really want to stay up it is our home form that will save us. Lets follow this up with another win & then (hopefully) we will gain a little more confidence.
-
You cant but compare can you. It makes our performance & result look a lot worse now. Geeez even when you try & look for a positive it is almost impossible. We really are a shower of sh1t.

I must admit I fell out of love with football in the last few years. There were 3 things that really changed my view. 1. Rupert Lowe - No need to say anymore 2. Rio Ferdinand - When he said that he was guilty of nothing when he failed to turn up for a urine test. IMHO he was guilty of being an arrogant to$$er! If i dont give a breath test when a copper asks I am guilty. 3. Jermaine Pennant - Not just for the way he played against us for Birmingham in the season we were relegated from the PL, but for getting done for drink driving for the 3rd time. What kind of an idiot gets done for DD 3 times? Maybe it is because when i was a kid the players appeared more approachable. I dont know how many times I was kicking a ball outside the pub at The Archers end only to be patted on the head by the likes of Channon, Boyer, Ball, Pudding McDougall etc. It is not like that now - And somehow with all this money in the game & the all seater stadia it feels very contived. Who is gonna win the PL? Pick 1 from 3 maybe 4 - It has lost some of its charm. Over hyped & egotistical the game has become. Or maybe I am just an old ba$tard who is bitter & twisted at the sh1t we put up with as Saints fans!

I dont think anyone wants to have a go at Lancashire, but he looks painfully out of his depth. He makes far to many errors to be considered a regular centre half at Championship level.
-
Probably, but will decide on the day.

Tell us about the assets Mowgli............................
-
Just like the dividend & share buy back figures I guess?????
-
Out of the accounts!
-
P.S. They have 23000 season ticket holders at the moment.
-
We have £43m of debts & you would also have to buy the equity - so lets say at least £31m to repay non-stadium debt & buy the equity. Not sure what Derby is valued at, BUT what it does have that we dont is parachute payment(s). Are they paid for 2 seasons after relegation or just 1? I think it is 2 so lets say another year of that at the very least. You would need at least £35m to stabilse SFC & that is without Lowe & others trying to charge a premium for their shares. Why would anyone want to do that?
-
My worry is that clubs wont want to loan us players if we chop & change so much. I am also not convinced that if we had Wayne Rooney playing for us we would score many more goals as the supply is sadly lacking. As for Pekhart. Spurs fans at work suggest that he is the kind of guy who works well with a smaller quick striker rather than as the lone striker.

It never did benefit the team! That was the question i asked at the AGM & I did not get a sensible answer. Below is a table of the dividends & the shares we bought back under Ruperts command. Over £4.5m wasted. Basically if Rupert owned 5% of the company then he would be entitled to 5% of all the dividends. So on top of his salary, his share options, his pension scheme he also got a nice bonus when he supported the dividend. An extra £150k+ for relegating Southampton F.C. What could we do with that £4.5m now? Dividends Sept 2000 - £324,123 Sept 2001 - £328,070 Sept 2002 - £593,218 Sept 2003 - £856,227 Sept 2004 - £856,227 Sept 2005 - £140,000 TOTAL - £3,097,865 Share Buybacks May 2002 400,000 @ 35p = £140,000 June 2002 2,746,153 @ 30p = £823,845 Oct 2002 1,120,000 @24p = £268,800 Sept 2004 450,000 @ 44p = £198,000 TOTAL - £1,430,645
