I would Rich. I would play him deep & let Morgan roam a bit. I think we need a change & some of them a kick up the back side. As for Kelv, I think he has had a poor season & just because he kept a clean sheet in his last game does not make up for the 6 plus goals he conceded in his previous games. Maybe it was lunacy keeping him in goal after that??

Howe would not be my choice to be fair. O'Driscoll in my opinion would be a better choice than either Howe or Adkins. That said I dont think Cortese is doing himself any favours with this whole sad series of events.

I think NC will appoint someone who can get us out of this league then see how they go in the Champ, if they fail in the Champ appoint someone to get us to the PL, if they fail in the PL appoint someone to get us competing there. I would love MON to be our manager, but can not see it happening. I think what NC is doing is getting 'horses for courses'.

I agree with Goalie66. I hate the paper with a passion. I have many clients in Liverpool & wether they are blue or red despise them for what they wrote about Hillsborough. I have never looked at the paper again even if its sitting on a seat on a train. NC should back track & allow them in even if he looks a little silly.

Its far too early to even consider removing AP, but I fear for him if we have a slow start. There are no easy alternatives, but having thought about it for a while I would try & get Sean O'Driscoll.

I know, I will write to Pardew & tell him that I was a little disappointed at some of his tactics & then to Mr Puncheon respectively asking why he ducked out of challenges & did not really look that interested.......I am not sure some of them could actually reply in writing, but hey-ho. Actually, maybe John Smith (Uber Fan) could reply for them. I wish I was as good a fan as you........ Still not sure how we express our disatisfaction????? Maybe John Smith (Uber Fan) can answer the question as he has such a high intellect? Oh, sorry everybody I was reeled in by the 'uber fan' with a superioty complex........... So how do you show your frustration to the team & Pardew then? Clap gently & say hard luck chaps? Please give me a suggestion all you uber-fans!!!! FWIW I do think Antonio would have got past Molyneux & I do think he would have crossed. This is the 3rd Division & if either Puncheon or Antonio could do it week in week out they would not be playing for us or Reading. For me with Puncheon it was about his effort & his lack of desire. Antonio without doubt has desire......And more pace than anyone else in the team.

I disagree - I dont think we dominated the game at all in the 2nd half. Yes, in the first, but in the 2nd we were very very poor.

I did indeed boo after the final whistle. I make absolutely no apologies for it. 400 miles round trip for each home game. £600 for season tickets, £400 for strips with names on for the kids etc etc. When I see Davis kick the ball in to touch 6 times for no apparent reason. When I see Puncheon mincing around & someone as crap as Molyneux play him off the park I get disappointed & boo. When I think that we have not put out a what we call a starting 11 in the whole of pre-season & that IMHO it was not great preperation I get disappointed & boo. When Hammond & Harding play as bad as they did I get disapointed & boo. How else do we show our frustration to the players? Tell me 'Legends wear 7' how I do that? Gently clap, cheer & tell them they are all great? How? - You tell me!! I give my commitment in spades - when the players dont I am entitled to show it. When they do I cheer them as much or more than anyone else. My 35-40 games a season allows me to IMHO. I am therefore a disgrace according to the holier than though 'Legends wear 7' - fair play to whoever he or she maybe as they are mega fans & I am merely a clueless idiot for turning up most weeks!!!

I have just seen the goal on the news. Fallon rose above both Jaidhi & Butterfield, Fonte was flat footed for the touch & Harding was simply day dreaming. I also wonder if Davis could have done better. None of this knocking of the side on my behalf is at all pleasurable. We were poor 2nd half - end of! Pardew's interview blames 15 minutes of them improving & us getting worse. We improved when Lallana came on. And the reason I think Puncheon was poo today was because he did not have a clue how to go past Molyneux & his passing was not up to much either. There were a couple of crosses which were good & he should have crossed to the unmarked Barnard when he shot over. I would have taken him off after 60 minutes & let Chamberlain loose.

I love how we all see a different game when watching exactly the same thing. I thought we were decent first half, but we never really looked like getting on the end of anything. Sorry, I thought we were **** 2nd half. The defending was shocking for their goal. Why did Kelv keep aiming for Puncheon? IMHO that was Hammonds worst performance in a Saints shirt. Hardings also. And Puncheon frustrated the hell out of me. Dickson did well, but the foul that got the booking really took the steam out of him. I am convinced Reid instucted the full back to do it. Lallana was our best player. We looked so much better when he came on. I am worried for Pardew. If Lambert is not fit & we dont win for 4 or 5 games I can see him going. I am not saying I want him to go, but i would not be shocked. A bit disapointed he did not try something in the last 10 minutes. Maybe bring Chamberlain on or Holmes & take Butterfield or Hammond off. Pretty disappointed tonight.

VFTP loves Italy - And that place certainly has its issues!!! I loved Portland Oregan when I visited. I worked in the US for 15 months & loved every minute of it. Without doubt it has major issues, but there is a huge amount of beauty all over the place. Oregan, California, Minnesota & yes even Florida & Michigan. I will be in Anna Maria Island for a week & that is ace!!!

Hi Martel. I have a house in Kissimmee & will be over next week for a couple of weeks & not using my season tickets. Me & the lads are taking trip over to Tampa to see the Rowdies play. I know its a bit of a trek & Miami maybe closer, but you should think about watching a bit of the local 'soccer'? Really looking forward to tomorrow!
