He was poor today - simple. That does not make him a bad player, but he should have been subbed & that decision rests squarly on Adkins shoulders IMHO.

Yes I think we can, but am not sure we will?? If we can maintain our best starting 11 I would say yes. Just not sure that is possible with all the games. What the last 4 games have showed to me is that we dont have the squad of other teams at the top. Think West Ham yesterday with Cole on the bench. If we can strengthen in January then yes we will, but this is Saints & we know we have the ability to implode at any moment.

I saw Harding have an absolute shocker at Carlisle last year. Adkins dropped him for a few games & he came back better. Fox needs the same treatment. The big difference for me is that Harding was a free transfer, Fox cost £1.8m. Surely he should be loads better &he simply is not!!

Completely disagree. He is our most composed midfield player. Hammond is all action, but is nowhere near as good as Morgan at passing. Cork is a better version of Hammond. Cork & Morgan could play in the PL - Hammond could not IMHO. Did you watch Ferguson today?? Always wants the ball, always passing & pressing. Morgan is a younger better version of him. All IMHO of course.

How did Guly get 9 votes????? In what way was he class today???? Cant be link up, goals, heading...............not saying he did not try harder than he has in the past just very surprised he has 9 votes. Lambert for me. He is absolutely essential to us!!

Tell me your joking!!! Fox never ever runs with the ball. He stops & then crosses. His dead ball ability is why we bought him & he aint allowed to take free kicks!! Defensively shocking & IMHO he is Adkins worst signing! £1.8m is way way too much!!! Harding needs to start at the blue few Sunday!! And if we had another fit striker I would drop Guly too!!

Just back in. I thought Blackpool actually kept the ball better than us at times. We deserved at least a draw, but we simply dont pass the ball as fast as we did at the start of the season. Teams have sussed that they should play 4-5-1 & hit us with pace. The last 4 games prove that. Having read some of the other posts I find myself almost laughing. Guly was poo!! Lallana was not! Fox has been shocking for the last 3 games he has played & was rightly subbed for Harding. Playing Morgan, Cork & Hammond is a mistake. Drop one of them & let either Butterfield or Holmes play on the wing as SDR can be great, but also frustrating. I have wanted him to start, but that over run at the end was worse than my 9 year old would do. I dislike Holloway & his rant about 5 minutes at the end made me laugh. They wasted time all the way through & got what they deserved. The ref was shocking. Every 50/50 went their way & there was a defo push on Morgan before we scored our 2nd. Harding needs to start next week & Davis needs to be fit because Bart was shaky right from the start. Dont know what has happened to him, but if & i mean IF we go up we will need a new keeper next year. A point gained whilst only Boro won..............Bring on Sunday & the fish ****ing skate bastards!!!

Just seen the same highlights & indeed Fonte simply lets him pass without a challenge. Kelvin could have done better too. Not a good day defensively.................or offensively for that matter!!

Rich, we must watch different games & think about football in completely different ways because Fox was f'ing **** today & Morgan was head & shoulders above Hammond & is the best passer we have in the side. Hammond is all huff & puff & will never be a PL player. Cork has a strong tenacious side & he would be best alongside Morgan. What are you Ottery looking at? Cause I cant see it.....................

For the record I was at Brizzle, Hull & Donny today & we were rubbish in both the away games & not great against Hull. For the happy clappers, Adkins is not perfect. Nobody is. Today playing Morgan up front with Guly was a mistake. The other 2 games playing him (morgan) wide was a mistake. We never looked like scoring today or at Brizzle. Have laughed at the posts on the forum saying 'get off Guly's back' qouting how many goals he has scored comparing him to other players from team in the bottom 3 who get a third of the opportunities he gets. He was f'ing crap today. He has many qualities, but a striker who leads the line he absolutely aint. Fox's distribution today was shocking. Mistake to drop Harding IMHO & I said that in the pre-match chat. He over hit 3 corners, kept giving the ball away & guess which side of the park the goal came from??? Oh yea, our left................. Teams have sussed us. Sit deep, let us have the ball - then hit us on the break......................We need a plan C & D............. Nil points from 2 games away against 2 of the bottom 3 is crap!! Simple. We really missed Lambert & Chaplow today & if they are out for long periods we will slide down the table. I knew he was gonna take DeRidder off.......not that he was much better than many others to be fair, but he does not have confidence in him. Bottom line is - we have not played well since the last international break. We have won 1 & lost 2 & that my friends is not good enough for promotion. Yep - I would have taken this position, but that does not stop us trying to achieve more & Adkins has to think & learn about the last 2 weeks & make sure we beat Blackpool next week. Fox may well be better going forward & his delivery is without doubt better than Hardings, but Harding is a better defender IMHO. I thought he got forward really well on Tuesday in a way that Fox has not done. For the record Fox was very very poor against Brizzle. He may have been exposed, but he just dropped off until Adamoah got into our box & then left him to decide what he wanted to do. I have seen Harding also have a complete nightmare as well up at Carlisle last year. I just hope Fox becomes a better defender!

Keep Harding in for Fox. He was shocking at Brizzle & Harding played well on Tuesday. Also DeRidder in for Hammond. Bench Bart, Martin, Hammond, Barnard & Butterfield. Hoping for a win & ground no 72 for me!!!

Chaplow was for very different reasons. He was top earner, did not get on with ferguson & they have financial issues. Not at all the same. I was not sure when we signed him. I had never seen him play & the Celtic fans said he was rubbish. BUT - most of us said - wait & see. We did & he played really well for us. Utterly sensible IMHO!!!

Excellent news. He has been excellent for us. Even the last 5 minutes against Adebola on Tuesday made me happy. Someone clearly did their research before he came here & that should also give us confidence. I wonder how much we paid??

Hull played in a similar way to Brizzle, but without the pace. I think teams have sussed we lack pace & are happy to play a high line against us, hence the amount of offsides. Morgan is not a winger. He was a million times better in the middle of the park. Guly did not look interested, but both full backs played really really well. After how poor Fox was on Saturday, Harding would start for me at Donny. How many times did he go past Adz?? Lots more than Fox. Frazer was once again excellent. I think Adkins knows we need pace & will do something about it in January. Last night would have been perfect for AOC!! Just a pity he did not stay for another season. Excellent result, average to poor first half, great 10 minutes just after half time, average to poor remainder. Well done Saints - winning when not at our best is what ittakes to get promoted!!

Before the game, that fat bloke was asking their supporters questions & giving them the answers before they videod it for the progamme. Problem was, thick brissle fellas even with the answers kept getting the answers wrong.................carot crunching mongs!!!
