Make no mistake we were very poor first half. Forster kept us in it. Second half was much the same until we made the changes. 4-2-3-1 is not working. We are easy to play against. We are slow, one dimensional & low on confidence. Personally I would change it to 3-5-2. Drop Tadic, Redmond & Davis. More worrying is the rubbish that came out of MP's mouth after the game. We didn't play well Mr Pellegrino, we were ****e!!

I would sell Tadic. Its his attitude as much as his play. He constantly moans at other players & then takes no responsibility for his own mistakes. Redmond is similar. Boufal has to be given time, but the initial signs are not great. Personally, I would rather play Sims if he was fit.

We should have sold Tadic in the summer. He moans at everyone & takes zero responsibility for his own mistakes. Cant understand why both Hojberg & Clasie weren't playing. All well & good going on about Davis & how much we missed him, but not sure how much he would have done in a different formation. I think some people are forgetting it was wolves RESERVES!!!!! Shameful really.

Saints poor after the first 20 minutes. Slow ball movement & lacked composure. Whole back 4 not good. Centre mid is where we lost the game. Struggle to see many of these making it to the first team. Bakary, Barnes, Wood, Cook, Little & Slattery all very poor on the night. Wolves deserved winners.

Personally don't think he was given a long enough run in the team to prove himself. Toward the end of last season I would have played him instead of Davis too. Good luck to him.

Not keen on Wilmer especially when Stoke get Martins Indi for £7m......

I have a lot of Liverpool supporting clients, most of them from Liverpool & still live there. Most get what's going on, they also get the comparison with Sterling. A few, who appear very vocal are complete idiots. If you really want to wind them up, ask them why we were chucked out of Europe finishing second in the old 1st Division? And then, if the 10 Liverpool fans convicted at that game are still in prison?? I don't want to sink to their level, but a touch of humility from them would go a long way!

There is no integrity in football.............just as Defoe restored a bit of faith for the way he was there for Bradley, VVD goes & does a Lovren & Lallana & shows what a silly boy he actually is. He's not even brave enough to put in a transfer request. As for the bin dippers, PL wont do a thing, they too haven't an ounce of integrity. I hope we let him rot for 6 months. Happy to pay him. Someone needs to make a stand...............

I think plenty of us do get it. That doesn't mean we shouldn't have aspirations to sign players who improve. Inheacho is a classic example of that IMHO. I think he is the right age & would represent a good investment. That said, I would rather play Stephens than spend £20m on Abe. I don't think there is any doubt that if we lost VVD we would be a weaker side & we would need to buy a new centre back. Someone like Indi Martins. Yes he is a similar age to VVD, but could potentially play for us for 5 years. I would add Smalling to that too, but he will always earn more at WHU or Everton. He's 27 & at £12m would be an ideal replacement for Fonte. I genuinely hope we get to see more of Sims, Stephens, McQueen, Jones, Hesketh & Valery this season. If the only way we can do that is by not splashing unnecessary money on overpriced players then that's cool with me. As long as we play attacking entertaining football. FWIW, I also think we are waiting for other teams to spend over the odds on players & then pick up some bargains toward the end of the window. As it stands, the top 7 from last season are getting further away from us. We wont spend the money Everton have. Don't forget they spent £30m on Bolasie last summer too. If they sell Barkley & with the Lukaku money they will still be in profit (probably).

I understand what you're saying, but can see Long leaving. Don't disagree about central midfield either, I think we could do with a strong holding playe. As for value? I think £25m is the new £15m because if all the silly money sloshing around in the PL. Looks like a typical Saints signing to me. Come for 2/3 years then move on to CL.

Think Inheacho would have been a great signing for us, disappointed we didn't get him. Lets hope we have others lined up.??
