I just wish we would play 4-4-2. That's how we got to the PL & Adkins abandoned it before we even started the season. We might as well lose attacking.

Enjoyed that. Beattie was a real threat. Also noticed Anders Svensonn involved in a number of those goals. He was IMHO a quality footballer.

I have a client whose client is NC. He says he is a total control freak - an absolute nigtmare. Another clients Nephew came over from Ireland to be Head Chef on the promise that the very out dated kitchen would be replaced with a few months. It never got replaced so he resigned. Someone earlier mentioned Rickie replacing MLT in the legend stakes. Rickie has been a top top player for Saints, but comparing him to MLT is quite silly IMHO. I dont like some of the things I hear about NC, but there is no doubt we are in a lot better place now than when he joined us.

Twas a game of 2 very different halves. First half I thought we were pretty decent in patches. Second half we were total poo. It amazes me how different people see the same game. Puncheon looked knackeed after about 30 minutes. I was not surprised when he went off. Chaplow was total poo!! Not knocking the lad, but very poor. Yoshida is never a right back!! I thought Morgan did well, great save from gazza & Jay Rod was none stop all game. Not sure why he took Lambert off. He missed the target in the first half when it was easier to hit the target after great work by Jay Rod, but he was always a threat. Jos has posted on Twitter he thought he was rubbish! Agreed Jos, you were. No fan of Fox, but thought he was better today. Starting to worry about Adkins Everyone could see how deep we were & we simply invite them on to us. We just didnt keep possession of the football. Fulham are poo & were there for the taking. Ref was poo too. Sidwell represents everything that is crap about the PL. We spent £30m in the summer. It has to paid for somehow. As a company we have many sources of finance. All corporate bonds are - are a way of borrowing against future profits or/and income. Equity is also a way of borrowing against future income. This is a loan fixed ( being the important word) against future income. That in itself does not worry me as long as the rate is not stupid. What is different is the need for Cortese to find funds outside of the Liebher estate. That for me is the worry. Maybe Cortese is trying to get the business to stand alone in order to value it to sell it? I am concerned, but unlike the blue few we do have fixed assets to on against,

Yes I did. I also saw him pass the ball out for a goal kick when he had no one round him. He is a real quality asset to have & a constant threat, but everyone can have an average game. On a number of occasions the centre half nipped in front of him. In the 2nd half they broke at pace from that mistake & almost scored. Did you see that?

Ramirez & Lallana can play in the same team. but you need 3 defensive midfielders in the middle (Assumin Cork & Morgan are out). Against Fulham I would have JWP, Davies & Chaplow playing. We left massive gaps on the flanks & Having RL, AL, GR & JR playing there simply was not enough cover. I was even thinking about getting Hammond back???

I aually thought he was average yesterday. Got knocked off the ball quite easily a couple of times, his first touch was not great & he was slow to the ball allowing a defender to nip in in front of him. That said nobody stood out yesterday.

It's really simple, we are getting killed down the flanks & yesterday left massive gaps in front of the back 4 because we missed Morgan. Many many teams will lose at Arsenal, City & Everton. What did people expect?

Some of us were saying last year we needed a whole new back 5. It was obvious. They lacked mobility & pace? Clyne has helped, but even a players like Titus Bramble, James Collins & Chris Baird would improve us & they ain't very good!
