Awful. Football has been poor, clueless selection, lack of pragmatic formation, lack of intensity, move the ball to slowly, zero charisma. Sack him now!!

Just in from the game. Team selection was beyond strange. PEH has been our best player recently & hes on the bench. Tadic starts again & is woeful. Davis terrible. Redmond very poor first half, but improved in the second. We were abysmal for the first 15/20 minutes. Both sides are very poor. Ref clearly loves Ince as everytime he fell over he awarded a free kick. Manager is clueless. Its time for him to go & for us to start a fresh. Only positives today. We didn't lose, 3 home grown players starting, Forster made an excellent save early in the first half.................

I would sell him in a heart beat. He moans just like Redmond at his team mates constantly, but takes zero responsibility on the numerous times he messes up. We need to add some serious pace as we are the most one paced team in the PL in my opinion & that's f'ing slow!!!! We move the ball slower than some under 16 teams. Lack any kind of intensity.

Switch to 3-5-2. Drop Redmond & Tadic. Soares & Bertrand wide, PEH & Romeu sitting. Gabbi & Austin up front with either Boufal or Lemina behind them. 3 centre backs Hoedt,VVD & Stephens. Decent bench of Yoshi, McQueen, JWP, Sims, Long or many others.................. Just like RK did before Christmas after our worse period under his management.

I dont think he should be fired. However, I do believe when you start to believe your own hype you set yourself up for a fall. All the videos about the Southampton way have come back to bite. Quite a few times this season we have started without an academy product & that is clearly not the Southampton way. It was/is also inevitable that we cant keep producing academy players as we have & then finding Mane's, VVD's & Pelle's. For me, its been the last 2 managers that have not bought out the best of what we have. Add that to just how poorly some of players have played this season (Tadic, Redmond, Forster) & you have a recipe for failure. We fired Pardew & Adkins. Potch & Koeman left for the dosh, We fired Puel & I think if we lose this weekend we will fire Pelegrino. But we want do that until we have a replacement lined up. Not sure who that would be, but someone more pragmatic than Puel & Pelegrino. Anyone remember how bad pre Christmas was for Koeman then he switched to 3 at the back with Bertrand on the left of the 3. Changed our season. Reed needs many accolades for what he has achieved, but he also needs to man up now & start taking some responsibility.

End of last season was abysmal. One goal in seven home games & we are supposed to be satisfied? It's an entertainment business. He only looks good because the muppet bought in to replace him is worse.....and that is all down to Reed & Kruger, who remain very very silent!

Tonight does not change the turgid pedestrian one goal in seven game rubbish Puel's team served up at the end of last season. Hiring the current muppet of a manager doesn't change it either, just makes it even worse................. Players, Reed, Kruger also take some responsibility of course, but the whole management team needs replacing. The Southampton way tonight involved no academy graduates in the starting 11.............................. Reed & Krugers silence speaks volumes.............. Who could replace him?? I would still go for Gary Rowett or someone of that ilk. If we are going to lose 4-1 we might as well lose with Stephens, Ward Prowse, McQueen, Hesketh & Sims in the side as some of those on display tonight. PEH has been outstanding in his last 2 games so MP drops him. What has Tadic got to do to get dropped?? But keep on talking about ****e fans & how good Puel is if you want..............................

Geeeez!! Fella was top quality for us for many years. Hated the way he reacted when Spurs came calling. Never wanted him to leave, but completely understand the lure of Man Utd. I would have him back in a heart beat. Wouldn't pay anywhere near what Everton paid, but defo £5m Amount of players Lawrie Mac used to bring to The Dell who were apparently past their best or 'trouble' & got the best out of them shows what could be done with an arm round the shoulder & the responsibility of being our skipper. He is a lot better footballer than any of the players we have now. His performance on Sunday was very very poor. I saw him nowhere near as committed as he was for us. Everton fans already want him out. He never got a proper chance t the rags. Id ask Everton of they want to do a straight swap for Redmond!!!

Excellent result. PVH was excellent. Deserves a run now. As does Austin. But, one swallow does not a summer make..................

Thinking that we could continue to get Players like Mane, Van Dyk, Pelle amongst others & producing Lallanas, Chamberlains & Shaws...... How many academy products started on Saturday?? We didn’t evolve...... We believed in all the Southampton way ********. How many players do we have in all of the England u21’s & younger squads?? One! Sims is the only one who really looks the part.

Load of rubbish, again. As pedestrian & awful as anything Puel produced. Tadic has had a shocking season. Absolutely rubbish, yet he stays on the park for 81 minutes. Forster poor again. Davis scores a good header then manages to pass to Brighton more than he does his team mates. Manager is clueless. Call that entertainment?

But he still walks away with a **** load of money & probably doesn't give a f ? ( K!

A good manager is pragmatic in his approach. We play dull, predictable, pedestrian rubbish that is easy to defend against. VVD, Bertrand & Redmond look to be anywhere, but at Saints. I'd sell the lot. A new manager can bring intensity. Maybe then we may start to look like we actually care!
