Thought he played well yesterday. I have been one of his biggest critics. He was very very poor at Burnley. The role he has now provides him more space to play in. Interesting that Tadic is struggling at the moment. Got another assist yesterday, but delivery was not great. Fair play to Mane for his last 2 performances.

Toby mom for me. Thought Mane was fouled before their goal. Hazard is pure quality IMHO. Thought ref was very inconsistent throughout. Chelsea fell over & they got a free kick. Pelle couldn't breath near a Chelsea player without a free kick being given against him. Fantastic point.

No luck tonight. Alderverweild was excellent. Thought Mariner was very poor. If Mayuka & Mane are our best substitutes then we are a mid table. Both were very poor tonight.

I don't know why Koeman doesn't rotate Tadic & Mane's side from left to right more often. If it aint working, try something different.

I saw him play for Burnley against Stoke the other day when he got a couple of goals. I actually think he could fit into our play. He can do what Long & Pelle do. Clearly in a different way though. He was the top of the formation with Barnes behind him against Stoke. He is certainly quick enough. To simply dismiss him without watching him OR to simply say he is good enough because he supports Saints is silly. IMHO I think he could do a job for us. Certainly prefer him coming off the bench than Mayuka!!!

Disappointing. Why no Cork? After Mane's stinker at Villa I would have started with Long. Putting Toby into midfield weakened us at the back. Not sure why he didn't give Reed a chance? Move on.........

Front four were shocking. Mane abysmal! Thought substitutions should have been made earlier too. Worst performance of the season. Hope Davis is fit fir Sunday!

Front 4 very poor so far. Shape change has not helped. Either Mane or Long off, Cork on. Bertrand having his worst game fir us & Wanyama passing us poor. Hopefully we can only get better.

Glad I was wrong & we won! Thought Wanyama & Bertrand were excellent. Davis & Tadic not at their best, but can't fault anyone.

For some silly reason I think we are gonna lose tomorrow 2-1 with both Nugent & Ulloa scoring. Hope im wrong!!!!!! Maybe I am remembering the Saints of old & we are not that team anymore.

I find this all very interesting, but don't think we will break the bank at all. We have achieved all we have this season with a solid determined team ethic. The last thing we want is a prima dona on twice what anyone else is as I believe it will undermine that team strength. Also find it interesting that some want to make a massive signing whilst ignoring the fact that none of the starting 11 on Saturday came through our academy. Only 3 of them were English. Were we all not banging on recently about how important it is to show youngsters a path to the first team???????

Just in. We deserved that. Personally thought Davis was mom. He kept the ball better than anyone. Pelle also very good. Wonderful first goal. Wanyama kept giving the ball away. As for Stoke, in a word - Thugs!
