Watched on NBCSN in the States & Danny Higginbotham was shocking, you would never know he played for Saints. Pelle & Soares were awful. Tadic & JWP were just as bad if not worse when they came on. Targett was poor too. Crossing & final ball were absolutely rubbish. Mane should have scored. Forster, Virgil & Clasie were good. If Wanyama makes the tackle Vardy does he's booked......... Kante makes lots & lots of little fouls. Doesn't get booked.....

Its really sad. I have heard some rag fans saying how **** he is. He adds nothing & is a complete waste of money. Clueless bunch. I would have him back in a heart beat. In fact I would take 3 x-saints back this summer if I could (Morgan, Chambers, Ox).......

He's a nuisance that absolutely no defender wants to face. The timing of his jumps for headers are outstanding. He us definitely not the best finisher in the league, but you can not doubt how much of an influence he is for the better of the team.

Yes!! He is the referee who gives them the most decisions, there were some stats the other day that said Atkinson was ours (LOL) & he didn't give us one at SMS earlier this season either that was a nailed on pen. He is a truly awful referee.

Lots of strong performances today. VVD outstanding. Special mention for Martina who did very well against the cheat Arno! Pleased for Pelle. His all round play was a lot better. Oriel played well too. Sorry, Tadic was poor again. He was involved in Pelles second goal so that's 2. Assists in 2, but he is a long way from his best. Very pleased!

Spurs have benefitted quite a few times this season from what ive seen. And Lemala's hand ball goal at SMS last season was a disgrace!!

Romeu is a better footballer than Wanyama. Wanyama is a better defensive midfielder than every other player we have. BUT he is a very very poor passer of the ball. Personally think we won't miss him as long as we can acquire some pace & width.

We are sooooooo slow. We can't string a series of passes together. Movement was very poor too. Corners shocking. Tadic was completely rubbish. Yes he crossed for the goal, but that apart he was woeful. Pelle was better, but way off. I actually thought Mane was a lot better second half. Romeu was our best player, followed by VVD. Really hope we acquire some pace in the summer.

Pelle, Mane, Wanyama, Tadic, Juanmi & Martina.... Optimistic I know, but I'd go for Matic, Benteke, Chambers (none getting a game) plus Roofe from Oxford & Clough from Bolton..........

We have lacked creativity for quite a while. Think we also lack pace & width too. Tadic is not the kind of player you want next to you in a battle. He doesn't have the bottle.

That was shocking from Forster!! You can argue about all of the last 4 goals conceded & his positioning. That said, we can't f'ing pass the ball to each other. Very very poor tonight. No width. Both free kicks very doubtful.

Dermot Gallager (x-ref) on Sky Sports just said he got both decisions right. It wasn't a foul or a penalty with Cahill & Austin And linesman was wrong, no foul & it wasn't a kick out by Kennedy. Apparently Kennedys momentum meant that his leg came out...................even the co host was surprised at that one. Just makes you realise how detached they are from the game.

We all cheered. Couldn't happen to a nicer fella!!

So Siggurdson on Clasie last week should have been a yellow then? Moss didn't book him........

The referee yesterday (& many other times this season) was inconsistent. Same last week, same most weeks. Allowing Ivanovic 3 fouls without a booking whilst booking Clasie is a mistake. Either book both or allow Clasie 2 more fouls. Last week Clasie gets booked for pulling Siggurdson, just after he had done it Clasie without a booking. If he books Ivanovic, he has to play differently. Bottom line, once again a referee influences the result of a game!

They were allowed to be better by a mixture of Saints getting too deep, Long going off, Pelles inability to trap a football, VVD losing out to Ivanovic AND a number of referee mistakes.

Just back in. You could see we had gone too deep in the second half & we kept giving the ball away. Ref was inconsistent all the way through. Same last week. We seem to get yellow cards that other teams don't. Kennedy kicked out at Cedric before their first goal. Free kick, clear as day. Pelle was poor. Long is the best nuisance in the PL.

If the ratings agencies got anything correct, 2008 would never have happened. Smart people listen to what they say & look for the weakness in their arguments.................

Totally agree. I don't know what constitutes a penalty from corners. No clue whatsoever. You seed kids doing it on Sundays too. Academies encourage shirt pulling & holding. Football League need to sort it IMHO.

Simply, if the Wanyama challenge was a red the Byrams is too. Payets maybe. Its the inconsistency that is the problem for me. ****tenburg was clearly influenced by Noble & Reid. For that alone he should miss games. Referee's should not be influenced at all. I know they often are, but its down to integrity for me & I don't believe he has much.

****tenburg is a very poor referee. I have seen him make so many mistakes it's quite shocking. Thought the Byram challenge was worse than Wanyama's yet He only gives a yellow. Noble & Reid were disgusting. Hope they get some of their own back soon! Excellent from Saints. Thought Fonte was back to his best too.
