Time for the rest to leave. Cant say im not worried by what or who will replace him, but it is time for a refresh. In fairness, we should also be grateful for what he helped to achieve at the club. Just think we have lost sight of what our success was built on.

Three quarters of the way through the game I turned to my lads & dad & said we can win this.........I was clearly wrong! Armstrong lost the ball for both goals. I've got a bit of sympathy for him though. Is he a left winger? Don't think so. Have to blame Hughes for that. Hoed is an accident wIting to happen. Not sure what Austin is doing. Ings was playing way to deep. My 16 year old thinks Hughes is a bit of a dinosaur, I tend to agree!

Think the lad deserves a chance. He looks as though he has bulked up a bit from Potch's time. I would have him in & around the first team personally. If weve learnt anything from Carillo, its that £18m doesn't buy you much sometimes.

The lad looks decent. Leicester will need a Mahrez replacement so I can see them paying more in terms of salary. He wont want to be relegated & we cant hide the fact that we finished 4th bottom last season. I was always a little worried about how he will come back from the injury he has had & the PL is definitely a step up from the Champ. Prior to appointing him I would have not wanted him as our manager. But, he deserves the chance for keeping us in the division. The players appear to have rallied round him too. I worry about him long term. Lots of pals are Stoke fans & both my lads were there. He's a bit dour. He, like most managers have his favourites. Think Stephen Ireland. His in game management is sometimes a bit strange. As a previous poster mentioned, his record of involving academy players at Stoke was appalling. However, he deserves our support & I for one will be supporting him.

True test of a person is their ability to take responsibility for poor decisions. Reed loved all the plaudits & acolades. So much so he publicly wallowed in his self gratifying interviews. As soon as the going gets tough, he hides. Shows a distinct lack of integrity in my opinion. Ralph just talks ********!!

He was terrible this season until Hughes came in. He moaned at others & took little responsibility himself. No doubt he improved as Hughes arrived. For the right offer, I would sell.

I wouldn't keep him. Personally, I would go to either Hirst or someone young & enthusiastic. Someone prepared to play youth with an attacking purpose. We've wasted so much money on foreign imports who have failed to impress in the last 2 seasons that building from the ground up would be my preference. The last 18 months have been miserable in so many ways. Only a total clear out top to bottom will reignite our appetite to push out of The Championship.

For 8 games it makes a lot of sense appointing Hughes. The interesting thing for me will be seeing if Watson stays. If he leaves, sounds like Hughes could be more long term. Wouldn't have been my first choice, but will support him until at least the end of the season. This situation is not if his doing. Also believe he will be motivated to put Stoke down, he's that type of a fella........
