I trust Koeman to do the best job he can. I do not think he will be here in 3 years time. I do not think Les Reed will honour his promise to provide him with all the money from transfers and I do not believe KL will either. Krueger is lightweight. Les Reed has not yet delivered. KL's inherited businesses have indeed been wound up - in some cases - and I do not sense a passion for ownership, which will be further eroded as the fans add to the implosion and single her out for abuse with every defeat. We are becoming singled out by the media as a joke already for our lack of ability to resist bids and manage our talent. We'll be fine, nothing to worry about. At least we don't have a hockey fan in charge this time.

Agreed 100%, but your line 'and replace them with better ones', is the thing that worries me. I think its a very easy prediction to make but I am convinced we will not spend our transfer kitty in this transfer window, in January and probably even by the end of next summer too. I'm standing by with my calculator on 1 Sep!!

I thought fathers were supposed to advise their children against greed and enlighten them on other qualities that the longterm can deliver - like legendary status and respect akin to that which Le Tiss and others receive. Lallana's dad can be added to the list of poisoners in my opinion, but to be fair to him he may have tried - Lallana's arrogance appeared to know no boundaries by the time he left, cemented by his clumsy thank you in The Echo.

Yep - we are a joke. No denying it. This is pretty conclusive.

I think Koeman is letting those he regards as being disruptive and divisive go. He's allowing the negative wannabe players to go in order to build a team. Problem is that the premadonnas are the players who will keep us in this league. We are losing too many. Far too many. Koeman has a problem - he can't tell us that the wantaways are poisonous and unprofessional, we admire them for last season. He also can't tell prospective buyers that they are unprofessional and poisonous because their value goes down. I feel for him. This is mass cull of talented but negative tossers. A firesale of damaged goods. At least I hope it is. Its the only positive explanation I can think of. The alternative is tha KL is cashing in and about to run away. The proof will come out soon. But the indicator of the latter theory will be a simple totalling up of money in from sales and money out to replace them with quality professionals who want to wear our shirt with pride for Koeman. That can be done on 1 Sep. If we have not replaced and have not spent what we have made, start to worry. I hope I'm right, I hope Chambers, Schneiderlin, Lallana, Lovren, Shaw and whoever else deserts are a bunch of poisonous unprofessionals.... but I am not so sure. Something poisoned our team. Liverpool? Rodgers? World Cup[ fame? Money? Agents? Woy Hodgson? or was it MoPo? I am beginning to wonder if it was the latter. I am beginning to wonder if MoPo planted the negativity within a clique of players? Regardless, Koeman has his work cut out. I don't care what people have posted about the Bournemouth game, for me is was a whole level of quality below what we have become accustomed to.

I have to say that it appears that the club have started to ignore the concerns of the fans. At the start of the Summer debacle at least they appeared to be reacting to reassure the fans.
-
That's true. But we will be able to make a simple calculation at the end of the transfer window on how much has been pocketed versus how much has been invested.
-
....in order to assess whether it is delivering to its vision and ambition. I'd say the answer today is that it isn't. We now need a RB to add to the replacements to LB, Striker, midfield, goalkeeper, centre bac.k. We need a minimum of 5 players, probably 8 to build on last seasons place. Isn't going to happen this Summer in my opinion.

It's made us all pretty grumpy with club, players, agents and each other tonight. How to lose friends and divide something that was once so good, by Katerina L.
-
Thought hard about this. .... can't think of one example. And there usually is one that breaks a rule.

I Love idealism, but try and live under realism.
-
Harry Redknapp was quite relaxed about everything publically when he started I seem to recall.
-
All rumours about Lovren...' We have had not bid from Liverpool' Now all rumours about Chambers. Spin spin spin. Club's integrity is shot to pieces. Can't believe or trust even Koeman now... And he's trying his best!
-
Yep. Very good point. Koeman clearly had Tadic and Pelle in the bank before he came in order to replace Lambert and Lallana. But it's a different ball game now. Can he attract further replacements in these circumstances? We are full of damaged goods and appear as damaged goods.
-
We needed to stop the exodus after Lambert left. This is a whole new ball game. Unless Koeman has just said, ' sod it, there's too many damaged goods, get rid and start again.' That's the only positive I can draw from this.
-
Only when it's irrelevant and condescending.
-
What is the limit for spending until the new rules? Can we actually spend what we will make from player sales now? If we can't, doesn't that add up to a KL cash-in?
-
If you're right then there can only be one instruction from above. Fire sale please Les, I'm cashing in and off.KL
-
Can't say Les Reed is a waste of space until the end of the summer transfer window. But it is looking increasingly like it.
-
There is no thinking. There is no strategy. There is simply short term reaction to offers. That is really very worrying.i think KL may shortly be on her way.
-
That we don't need to take and that we can't replace. It's actually like being offered a silly price for your house and then finding there are no more properties on the market once you've sold it - so you live in a tent instead with all your money stuffed in the bottom of your sleeping bag... And then in vanishes....
-
No. But sadly he wasn't in charge.
-
I can hear the song in Fratton already.... Sha lala... who's ****ing laffing now?
-
Fire sale? Or result of a MASSIVE breakdown of morale through mismanagement at Boardroom level? An owner that doesn't give a ****? All of the above?
