I don't believe one word that comes out of his mouth.

K: "That's correct. And it is come September that's judgement day and I think people need to realise, we are in a process right now, that the match is far from over, and on September 1st let's have a conversation. Oh yes. 1st September is judgment day Krueger. We need to see every penny spent on players. We need: x1 GK, RB, CB x2, LB, x1 Creative midfielder, x2 impact players (Puncheon types), x2 Strikers with 10-15 goals I them. 10 players by 1 Sep? No chance. Krueger - I don't trust you. Deliver that lot and you'll be found not guilty on judgment day. Not a chance you'll deliver mate, not a chance.... But I will judge you on 1 Sep.

Morgan is history. He will never play for us again. He will be sold. The time to be firm passed when Lallanna left. Another Boardroom **** up. Morgan would've stayed if we'd invested all our transfer cash in players of note. We aren't going to do that either. Krueger's no credibility. He's been shown to lack integrity already.

French jornalist Romain Molina says Liebherr wants to sell
SaintRobbie replied to Bewildered's topic in The Saints
Really? How much do you think the club could go for and how much transfer money could we be left with? -
So how many of you are really washing your hands of saints?

I want to send my Season Tickets back.... But curiosity is preventing me from doing so. I guess I want to see if Koeman really is a genius. -
We are going down unless Koeman brings in 6-8 high grade players. I can't see that happening. KL is going to pocket the cash in my opinion.

Trouble is she takes all the transfer money with her. -
Southampton supporters need a reality check, says Kevin Davies

Yep. Agree 100% -
Crab Lungs has confirmed all my fears over the past few weeks. The most worrying revelation sits with KLs intent to complete a cash in then sell what's left. We will know if this is true on 1 Sep as the transfer window closes. If we have not spent the transfer money, if we have not replaced our players it will be clear to everyone what her intent is. I agree Cortese was the ambition. I agree that our Board are inept and clearly lack basic management skills. I agree they appear to be liars. I agree Krueger is a joke. I agree more players will leave. I believe we will relegate without spending all the money. KL is destroying this club. I think I agree. But, I will be keen to see what Koeman is left with on 1 Sep before I confirm my opinions. There is still some hope, Koeman. I hope Les Reed, Kruger are sacked soon. I hope KL proves us wrong and spends. But this has all been clear for us all to see for months. I am afraid our owner and Board lack integrity and ability.
-
We have £92m to spend. We better spend it.
-
We are going to relegate. 100% Unless, every penny of the transfer money is spent on a minimum of 8 quality players by 1 Sep. It is becoming clear that Koeman was appointed as the Club knew they'd lost the players. Koeman steadied Fayernord after the sold all their players, what worries me is we won't spend all the cash. Let's be clear - today we are 100% going down. No brainer.
-
Have the Club sold Crab Lungs?
-
Next one is Jay Rod to Liverpool, that's why Remy failed his medical when there's nothing wrong with him. That's my guess.
-
Cortese? No brainer. Yes yes yes.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2707277/Southampton-exodus-joke-blasts-Mick-Channon-claims-players-dont-care.html No less than the great Mick Channon confirming its a joke. 'It's the fans I feel sorry for. They put hard-earned money in and then you see your heroes leaving at will.' Having bought x3 STs Mick gets my respect.

LOL! But yes you're right.... up until 1 Sep. Then the evidence will be there for all to see. Money in from transfers versus money out for replacements. Money pocketed versus money invested. The 1st of September is the official Southampton FC statement of ambition day. (There will be an indicator to prime us before that though... Schneiderlin's exit).

Will this be the best transfer window for Saints ever?
SaintRobbie replied to Mallagroth's topic in The Saints
Very good post. I've said it elsewhere, but those who raved about the performance at Bournemouth need to go to specsavers. We were a whole level of quality below last seasons performances. (And Gallagher is still technically challenged). I know we may get reinforcements and I know some better players are away (well one who's going to stay - Big Vic) but don't assume our players will all seamlessly come together and be better. Theres more to a team than individuals, the core of the last one took 3 years to reach its high standard of team performance. Koeman has been brought in not to kick us on - but to steady the ship this season. Trouble is he managed to do it in his last club WITHOUT spending and by using youth. That's what concerns me. Until I see EVERY PENNY from sales reinvested I will not trust the owner or the Board we have. They have lied to us this summer time and time again. Their integrity is in doubt. A lot of doubt. So, the question this forum sets - 'will this be the best ever transfer window?' is so so important. But, it could also be read as 'Does the owner and the Board have the integrity it needs to run a football club?' We can't do anything about individual players and their greed and selfishness. But we can direct the treasure in the right way to replace bad apples with fresh blood. (got to be the best set of split metaphors I've ever used that!!! ) -
Although if I had the choice of a Dutch duo at the back Vlaar and de Vjir (Cant spell it!) I'd be inclined to let Fonte go - in due course. I'd hold on to Fonte as a cover man for a season.
-
De Vrij and Vlaar would be a welcome clique at the back. Especially with Forster in goal as a pre-made defence.

Will this be the best transfer window for Saints ever?
SaintRobbie replied to Mallagroth's topic in The Saints
Thats all we're going to hear all season from the opposition fans. God I hope we spend this summer so we don't have to hear that week in and week out If we don't we are unlikely to invest in January (just no-one around to buy) and next summer the prices will all ratchet up again... and by next summer it might be too late and both parts of the song may have been proven to be true. We need a big spending spree - AND FAST. This thread is important. It is the key question by which we must judge KL's ambition. If we fail to spend in order to make this the best transfer window ever, we will know whether or not we as fans should politely ask her to sell up and go. -
Assuming Lovren, Spiderman, Jay Rod and Chambers go we need: GK RB (Cover) CB CB LB Midfield Playmaker. Impact subs x2 Strikers x2 Thats 11! In fact its a whole team!!!!
-
Good post - "When this window does shut it could be the best ever." That is the tester. 1 Sep. Thats when we will know the ambition of KL and the Club. After this transfer window. That is why the fans venom is being spat out now, to try and influence this positive outcome.

Cant remember Koeman saying that, certainly made no mention of this last night during any of his interviews. I think I'd like to hear Katerina make a strong statement of intent. I don't want a list of targets. I want a see quality players. I want to see all the money spent on quality. So, I will make my judgment on 1 Sep, when I can see her reaction and statement of intent in practice.
-
Agreed. I've already written him off.
