Frankly after posting this thread I suspect you'll get even more abuse. Most of the posters you've put up there were warning what might happen. You'll never know whether the backlash of the fans changed KLs mind about investing in the club. The indicators were all there that an asset strip could be on the cards and they voiced concern and more importantly put the Boardroom under pressure to support the manager. Krueger has been proven to lack integrity and frankly has been incompetent since he arrived. There is still a good chance he will be sacked. Once a CEO has lost the bulk of the fanbase it's a no brainer to remove him. The bulk of the fanbase will make a final decision on Krueger on 1 Sep. He is still well short of allocating every penny of the money earned from transfers. So judgement day still looms for him on 1 Sep. Don't bother replying, I'm putting you on ignore.

Ings and Vlaar should now be our primary targets in my opinion. Why? Vlaars a leader, great Centre Back, respects Koeman and best of all? It will help send Villa and Burnley down if they lose their best players. Ruthless. But this season has to be about survival and then kicking on with a long term contract for Koeman.

Right now,, we need a Centre Back, I don't believe we are out of the race for Rojo yet, hence Gardos' delay, and Gardos looks steady. Long is a good addition, but overpriced. We need: CB (maybe x2), further striker, RB. Pay over the odds for a CB now if necessary, but hunt for sensible prices for the other 3 and use the next 2 1/2 weeks to negotiate sensibly. THEN BANK THE REST. I'd give the Boardroom some credit if they achieved that.

Pelle is likely to be as good as Lambert. Long is better than Gallagher. We are going in the right direction. And he's not English so no chance if he comes good Woy Hodgson will tell him to go to Liverpool.

Does seem like panic buying. But as I said earlier - if we are taking the best players off our league place rivals then it's as much of a negative from Hull as a positive for us. Now let's sign Ings. If we have bought Long it's as a sub striker remember. In which case you could suggest its a good demonstration of ambition, given Sharps off and Gallagher is no where near as good as Long. BUT - we do need another 12-14 goals per season striker. And guess what everyone? WE STILL HAVE LOADS OF CASH LEFT TO BUY ANOTHER STRIKER - AND A GOOD ONE AT THAT. This purchase buys us some time to negotiate late on in the window for a quality striker.

And Lallana is the biggest mercenary of the two. I wish Sharp well, I will never welcome Lallana to SMS again. Only thing is that we need a striker or two.... And Hernandez doesn't look interested and we've not been linked to any others (Ings appears to be off the radar now too).

My assumption is Rojo is still the number 1 target, otherwise Gardos would've been announced having already completed his medical. Sounds like there's hope still that Rojo may sign.
