Typical Lowe 'Its not my fault but someone elses', but understandable given the AGM is approaching. There is one positive at the moment - that Lowe has said the Club is up for offers (see Echo article). This is very very important - doesnt go as far as I would like in actually saying the club is for sale but it does acknowledge that there is hope. However, given that Lowe himself is the reason why the club is imploding - fans staying away, Portaloo discontent, players being sold, media starting to poke at the club etc etc whether Lowe posts this sort of stuff to save his skin at the next shareholders meeting or not the fact is that he divides the club. We're in this league because of him remember. Lowe HAS to be voted out at the AGM. We simply must sack him to stand a chance of recovery. But most of all we simply MUST encourage a takeover. Lowe may have steadied the ship financially - maybe not - but he is still causing division, still interfering and still taking us divided into League 1. Please shareholders - vote him out or please those who would step forward to buy the club - do it now.

Sums up the general feeling I suspect. I am with that line. Its a catch 22 - stay away because you hate Lowe or come to support the team. The sway towards staying away for me however is just stronger as until both Lowe and Wilde leave the club will never have the optimism to move onwards. Unfortunately the only thing Wilde and Lowe understand is if their business is failing because people are staying away because of them - there boardmembers and shareholders will eventually have no choice but to remove them or at least pressure them to step down. So, roll on the takeover or roll on the revolution. Lowe and Wilde wont be here forever, keep your money in the bank and when they go pump it all back into the club When they go I will be buying shirts, merchandise and Season Tickets once more and will even more vigour.

It is another example of boardroom politics at its finest. God sake wake up. And you know what? EVEN if it wasnt, even if the board prefered a picture of a Doncaster Rovers train to inspire them to success - or to remind them of their new found friends who they will be dining with in League 1 next year... it matters not one iota. Why? Because the press are running it to make a political point and that's what matters. There are 2 predictions that I made back in the summer that have yet to be fulfilled but are due about now to come to fruition. So far so good (or bad unfortunately). The final 2 pieces of the negativity that comes with Lowe (and keeps fans away) are: 1. He's a media disaster and he will have Saints looking like a joke in both the local AND national media. 2. There will be a fan backlash against him, possibly as bad as the Branfoot days. The latter is why I will not be going to SMS until he leaves. Finally, as I have only one post... Leeds Utd announced a profit of £4m AFTER administration. Their shareholders like Lowe and Wilde lost all their money as a result of administration and are punished and gone. Leeds will rise again now. I would love to see a takeover, but after watching the Leeds example it occurs to me that Lowe and Wilde are purely looking after their personal shareholdings - which is why Surman, LLalana, Schnerderlain et al WILL be sold. Ultimately - it strikes me that unless there is a takeover we shall continue to slide down the table. Ultimately Wilde and Lowe dont give a **** about it above the value of their shares. Branfoot style tactics will reemerge I fear... I am not going to SMS to watch it.

'Their manager seems to be niave as well, he hasn't come to terms with english football yet. To many youngsters all at the same time. I know their chairman Rupert Lowe claim its cost cutting, but having experienced some time there with Harry Redknapp. I know he was always wanting us to play the young players. Every week Harrys selection was picked over, every week Rupert Lowe insisted he included more youngsters, every week Harry resisted. Whilst Harry and I were in charge that was not a problem however annoying it was. Then Rupert got two of his buddies involved, one from a non league club, one from another sport. This was the end of Harry he walked as soon as an offer came in. I stayed for a while but could see how the wind was blowing. Several ex Saints managers warned me not apply for Harrys job, because Rupert had always interfered in their job on the same lines. In the end I was not offered the job, probably Rupert knew I would ignore his orders. Saints fans.... read this. read this again. It's both true and sums up the cancer in this club. Please.... At blast - I can post again! I think you may be right Nick and Scummer. Sorry to have misled but I assumed it was Wotte. Anyway in reflection I am even more worried now. I challenge people to watch Jan in his technical area and watch how Hockaday or whichever even more insignificant (or not in this case!) coach interacts with him. Those who have noticed already how inanimate Jan is should watch to see if he responds to this thread! Bottom line.. he takes his instructions from behind. He doesnt generate the tactics... Hockaday/Wotte or whomsoever it is generates the kick up the arse he needs to make a decision. Jan is not a leader. I know leaders at this level. I work with professionals who require leadership and can recognise someone who doesnt have a clue when the going gets tough. Nick - for all your doubts... No. I have typed it a few times now but I noticed it about 4 weeks ago at SMS. Jan does nothing in the game except look puzzled until Wotte approaches him from behind and suggests a decision on a sub. I promise you... I saw it once then the next game made a point of studying him. The C3PO characature of him is spot on in my opinion. A clueless robot owned by another man who speaks a number of languages but fundamentally is here to please his boss and cause mayhem. Jan the fraud Portaloo. Shearer... but he'd want to be a manager and not work for Lowe.... So. Realistically? Get rid of Lowe and get a takeover through with Shearer. ... worse case scenario, we'll need someone who will deliver success and be able to work with Lowe, realistically? Crap opposition who even played down to our level. *With some exceptions - Lot's of effort granted and Lallana was superb. We have x3 good nippers - Surman, Lallana and Shneiderlin (?! where are you??? - come on Lowe ask Wenger if we can play him a little more often) - the rest should be in the reserves in the CCC. We need a manager who understands what and who he is playing against in this league. And we need a manager who is allowed to select and pick his team Mr Lowe. We need a manager who doesnt rely on his sidekick to tell him what to do during games. With a GD of minus 10 and teams like Watford below us I'm afraid Rupert Lowe has continued to lead us to League One. No surprises. Should really have been 0-2, well done Kelvin for the save.
