Of course this is not true. But it would be nice to watch the odd win and go home happy and not kick the dog every once and a while.
-
Another positive: Share price is falling dramatically. Cheaper to buy. 'Going down, going down, going down....!'

I agree Rob. Time for Fulthorpe to cometh or for us to tell the world at every opportunity that the club is for sale.
-
Why dont we tell the world that we'd like someone to when being interviewed?

I am sure she's Rupert's 2nd wife. 1st was obviously sane.

Woggy is a top bloke - always chirpy and happy, given his life to the Club...doing the kit. What? Oh yeah forgot..... didnt like Rupert returning; 'Sacked'.

I said 'decent' not 'desperate'

Interesting idea. But misses the one vital point... which of any decent British CCC experienced or above manager would genuinely want to come and work for Rupert Lowe - who is the Director of Football and constantly interfering? Funny isnt it that if Lowe left tomorrow we'd have a better chance of appointing someone decent on a pittance to try and save the Club. We need Lowe to go now... and I mean now. Come on Mrs Lowe you can do it!
-
So the choice is back a confirmed loser or back another.... errrr.... nobody who may or may not be a loser? Its not JPs fault he's crap, I think we need to remove his Director of Football simultaneously to have a chance of attracting any decent unemployed manager - even on a shoestring.
-
Do we have to keep failing any longer? Please no more.

If this makes it easier for someone to buy the Club........ WOOOPIIIEEEE!
-
Let's compromise and do both.

Huge fan base, great Premiership infrastructure, superb City, biggest Club on the South coast if we're being honest. Sits in the gateway to the UK. Lots of potential, lots of youth to build upon. There we go.... positively saleable. Come and buy us.
-
Its failed.

I think he is considering putting Wotte in for all the reasons you suggest... but ultimately he would love to see SCW in place. Wonder which league Lowe will install SCW in - League 1 or 2?
-
True. But internal fixes are rarely successful. Wotte is part of the problem - not a solution.
-
Shilton... edit... actually recently Theo Walcott... until Rupert errr.... oh yeah.
-
...and when Lowe sells the best youth players. Starting in January maybe?
-
Jewell has gone from Derby. Before we start though... why would he come here at the moment?

LOL ... no not Fulthorpe and yes it is up to the shareholders. And no money sadly. My preference would be for a US sugar daddy like Paul Allen rather than Fulthorpe - but needs must! New leadership and a new system of running this club has been needed for years. And yes I have tirelessly campaigned against the inevitability that has now started to really manifest itself. You're right I have been warning that all this would happen given the current set up and leadership for many years, in this forum and the last. But surely the majority knew this too. I TAKE NO PRIDE IN IT. I am as depressed as everyone else. I am just a passionate fan, who has a brain, shoots from the hip too much when posting on here but who can visualise a big picture solution if enough people would club together to pull the club out of this mess. The real problem is leadership and a board or forum to pull people together to sell this club. It is vast, has so many saleable points... yet we roll over and let Lowe, Wilde et al just use it for their own selfish, greedy aims. I do believe in one thing. Fan pressure can oust and fix this club. But it needs a leader and united forum with limited aims to do it to stand a chance. Certainly not me . Lowe and the other shareholders fear a fan backlash more than anything. Amongst other things it puts the local authorities on their backs to fix the problem, for them to pacify the fans or go. I just hope when it comes and the fans awaken from their punchdrunk state that it is peaceful, constructive and sensible - in the manner I have mentioned above. Sell this club, delist and move on. Continue and we fall.
