  1. Optimistically, it could of course mean RIP Southampton Leisure Holdings PLC FC, and the eventually ressurection of Southampton Football Club - which really died when Askam created this 'Club' over a decade ago.
  2. I agree. Which is why even the most pro-Lowe poster has to admit at long last that Lowe is not needed at this Club.
  3. I sat in the family enclosure yesterday too. But, generally try to go into the Itchen. There are kids EVERYWHERE in SMS, even in the Northam - though not that many! - and that was always an attraction of going to SMS. Southampton has always been a family oriented club. But the fact that some people had lost it and started fighting even in the Kingsland will start to turn people off.
  4. I spoke to Kelvin after the game. Really tried to tell him he is playing well and to keep plugging away. He was not happy but certainly appreciated the sentiment.
  5. Or maybe he wont as part of his grand plan included the possibility of relegation as it is a long term strategy. Lowe's plan was always going to be a long term plan - personally I think it could succeed but we'd need to wait 20 odd years potentially. What IS significant I think was JPs programme comments that seemd to hint that the experiment was over. Unfortunately I threw my programme away in disgust yesterday, if anyone has one and is prepared to bash our JPs comments I suggest they are worth analysing.
  6. Not if paid a decent salary with a bonus for keeping us up. I think we could attract someone. This team with belief and organisation MIGHT survive. MIGHT. It WILL relegate otherwise - probably in early April. There is simply no choice. JP MUST be sacked along with his Director of Football.
  7. I have felt for sometime that JP on the bench was irrevlevent. I have posted it so many times. He appears clueless and seems to rely on a spark from elsewhere to make changes. No doubt at all - the kids had no idea what to do and under JP have lost their fight. Change is not important it is absolutely CRITICAL.
  8. If Crouch had volunteered £2m recently if matched by Lowe and Wilde. What if he was put in charge - we sacked Lowe and JP - and he used that £2m to: 1. Pay for a decent unemployed manager. 2. Pay the wages of our men on loan and return all the quality back to SMS. Can this be done? Could this be the best £2m ever spent in the history of the Club?
  9. Wonderful letter. Sums so much up that is wrong with this club.
  10. I think Schneiderlin has been royally screwed around since he arrived as it appears that Arsenal may be his eventual target and Lowe has preserved him, whilst JP has failed to motivate him. He is definately playing much worse than when he arrived. No doubt in my mind at all.
  11. Lowe/JP are our managerial team. They come as a package. Director of Football and Coach. You need to remove both.
  12. If we the fans want to be constructive. We need to tell the world we would welcome a buyer. We need to sell this club. Lowe isnt selling it, he has already declined the last concrete offer (SISU). SELL THE CLUB... and if we fail... Keep telling the world we're for sale.
  13. I think we'll always have 15,000 fans regardless. We are a well-supported Club. That fact alone makes us saleable. We won't see a mass walk out at SMS. But I do predict those of us with young children will now avoid SMS this season - a Club once so mellow and steeped in family tradition.
  14. Agree with ALL of that. I would add that I am genuinely gobsmacked that he took Perry off yesterday for tactical reasons. I assumed Perry must have been injured and was genuinely shocked to find out JP was really that stupid.
  15. We might need a poll mods on JP ... sadly. I think it should read: JP out and replaced with any number of unemployed CCC managers? Yes No - he's doing well and will take Saints on to glory. Give him more Time.
  16. I think that contains just about everything ... but in order to prevent the problem from reoccuring I would add delisting the plc in due course to this.
  17. Just wondering. If Lowe was to keep staying away and Wilde was to keep sneaking off to avoid the protests... I wonder how long it would take for some fans to start protesting at the offices of W H Ireland (or whatever Lowe's other businesses are called) and so on? Personally I'd rather people protested there than at SMS anyway!
  18. Note to casual readers: Some readers may think this thread is daft, but to explain, Lowe's PR firm was caught red-handed posting pro-Lowe material on the previous forum to this one the last time Lowe was shown to be a failure.
  19. I think fans with young children are certainly going to reconsider going now, I know I am. We've seen what happens next the last time Lowe led us to relegation with a disinterested manager. Now that the fan base has effectively turned trouble will continue whilst results on the pitch dont improve - and they wont.
  20. lol I should have caveted that with...'if he has an ounce of sense'... ! But, who knows? There could be some interesting moves from people now before Norwich. There's time to make some changes.
  21. Forgotten about that. Good point!
  22. I think Jan said this already in yesterdays programme notes to be fair to him. I read it as an admission of Youth Total fantasy Football failure.
  23. That's an important point. I think the damage may be too much to recover from. Even if we clawed back our decent mature players, the way they have been treated has been scandalous and it would be difficult to see them wanted to give everything for the shirt. We'd need some manager to pull this off... and patience to realise that he's been handed a near impossible task. One thing is certain the Lowe/Portaloo plan has FAILED. We are 100% going down and I predict a red line to be drawn over us around early April.
  24. Oh I think after removing Lowe and Wilde, Askham is very very firmly in everyone's crosshairs.
  25. You are SOOOO wrong. We are not heading for League 1... I have watched a struggling League 1 side recently. We are heading for League 2.
