  1. Certainly as a temporary measure whilst we OPENLY search for new ownership. Yes, Crouch.
  2. Oh really?
  3. Good point that!
  4. There's always hope. With enough will anything can happen.
  5. Realistically - it wont work. Too many die hard fans... which is a good thing. If you want to hurt Lowe and the remaining shareholders, peacefully, picket and protest at their other businesses. That's how you humiliate them and expose their incompetence and its easy to do. Once their other (successful) business interests start to suffer and they're put under pressure by other shareholders and business partners and employees elsewhere due to the embarrassment of protesters outside their other businesses - they'll all be out of Southampton FC like a shot. Barclays Bank is also another good target. Also so is Mrs Lowe. Rupert has already declared her at the AGM as his Archilles Heal. A nice letter supporting her point of view that he should never have taken the job would help I'm sure. BUT it must must must all be done non-violently and politely despite all the frustrations.
  6. Yes - but how are you going to tempt a decent experienced player who may be being offered the same deal as Saints elsewhere if your senior players are recommending not to touch the club with a barge pole because of the way we treat our senior players?
  7. I think the eye-gym would be irelevant at this stage in our season to be honest. No ta.
  8. God no! That nevers works, you just get more of the same with a lesser man. That would be suicide IMHO.
  9. ..and are all better prospects despite this! That's how bad JP is.
  10. All the senior players are being VERY badly treated by Lowe IMHO. His tactics of sidelining them and making them unwelcome here just to get rid of them is frankly disgusting. Problem is, even if high wage owners of limited ability like Euell do leave, the impact it has on recruiting badly needed experienced players into the club in the near future is really worrying. Lowe does not think anything through. Our reputation as an employer of players is apalling. No wonder, John, Wotton, Skacel and Euell have openly stated their frustration.
  11. I think Spurs will survive. Pompey may struggle though. Thats a club about to implode IMHO.
  12. Here we go again ... Anyway, fingers crossed!
  13. To be honest I dont think we'd see this sort of tactic being used again. Stanley was just making a point about the nature of the man we're dealing with.
  14. Does that include ST holders who didnt attend - Kingsland and Itchen looked a bit light in usually strong ST holding areas.
  15. I completely disagree. I think we form a group and look for a buyer. Embarrass the board into selling up and leaving for good. Lawrie, Crouch, Fans with credibility, MLT, local MPs and City Councillors. Put a team together now and use every media outlet available at every opportunity to sell the club. Follow up every sniff of interest with a delegation. And if the buyers back out - keep trying and keep trying. Doing nothing is no longer an option. We must bully the shareholders into selling up and leaving. We must find that buyer as they wont.
  16. Kaka is 27 I believe. I think that is about right.
  17. Concur wholeheartedly with that statement. Duncan, when will we hear from Crouch?
  18. I won't happen though. 15000 odd hardcore fans will always support Saints through thick and thin. Boycotting is taking place, we have the largest fan-base on the South coast and we have appalling gates for our potential.
  19. Here we go again... Sad really. Predictable and was bound to happen.. but still I find it very sad. I'd prefer it if people PEACEFULLY protested at Lowe's other businesses rather than SMS to be honest. That would put him under more pressure to leave than at SMS.
  20. Not sure Wilde needed to at the time. To be honest, I dont think thats correct. As a mod at the time, Steve Grant will be able to tell you how the IP address was traced back to the PR company.
  21. There was a check done on the IP address that showed they came from Lowe's PR firm.
  22. Exactly! To get him to leave for the cloggies perhaps?
  23. I think that regardless of calls for boycotts etc if we can't get more than 16000 for a vital 6 pointer in a relegation season we are now seeing our bottoming out figure. As I have posted elsewhere, one thing this does demonstrate is that we are a well supported club - because despite Lowe, JP and the kids we are still bringing in fans. A saleable commodity. Worth buying this club is.
  24. Of course it is down to Lowe. He is the catalyst. Frankly if I was the local MP, I would be calling for Lowe to stand down next week.
