England fans - 'here for the cows, we're only here for the cows...' Highlight of the 1st half.

Cameron has to resign and will be made to by the Conservatives, they will not want to associate themselves with the loss of the Union and will turn on Cameron as a scape goat. With Labour having 20 odd seats ripped away they are unlikely to compete at the next election - unless Cameron is left in. Tories will rebrand themselves as the party of England. Seems ironic that the political party that has resurrected UK nationalism in order to try and win the next election with a cheap anti-EU shot will have sewn a seed of nationalism in Scotland that may destroy our nation. What frustrates me is that Cameron didn't have to do this. Like the EU referendum he is a risk taker, where no risk is required. Very foolish. Very foolish. Worrying.

Great interview that. Koeman attracts good players, has secured a good defender. Looks like he'll start.
-
Yeah - CaM's bore draw then snatch it analogy was where my mind was drifting until I saw a new CB and what looks like an exciting attacking winger in Mane. So I'm back to square 1 now... haven't got a clue where this is going to end up but slightly reassured we have reinforced!!
-
I wonder if we could mix it up with 'on the left wing etc' then 'on the right wing Dusan Tadic (clap clap) etc...'? Might work.

To be honest, I'm beginning to think we should be identifying replacements for Jay Rod, Spiderman and Wanyama now. They appear not to want to be here and clearly could upset what appears to be a good side that Koeman is starting to put together. But this time though we sell on our terms, once we have brought in a successful replacements. We have the money in the bank to do this - to identify replacements and ship them in. Then we sell at inflated prices. Time for more ruthlessness from our Boardroom and the end of the summer naivety. I think we are all hoping for stronger - and now more experienced - boardroom decision making. We sell once we have a better replacement.

Sadio oooo sadio oooo... He comes from Senegal He's yet to kick a ball. (Just an early placer to buy time until I can think of another)

Yes. Said it all season, Boruc is a character but not quite good enough. Forster has to be a strong contender so far. But Tadic is good, Pelle may be about to come good and Mane ... Well he might just need a chance on this thread too. But then.... Bertrand is better than Shaw one for one and our new defenders have yet to demonstrate their potential too! Tough thread, a little early to really tell.

That's exactly what Koeman wanted. An attacking winger who can score like that. Let's hope he settles quickly. Could be a great acquisition.

Bloody hell - never get a song out of that pronunciation!
-
I still find it hard to make a prediction. Hoping for 1-0.

Fox Sport reckon we are losers in the transfer window
SaintRobbie replied to Black Sea Saint's topic in The Saints
Fox sport!? The sports version of Fox News? I'd rather read the Daily Mail assessments! -
From relegation to 12th for me. Safe, but a lot of players to integrate and not quite enough depth in every position and we appear to still have x3 unsettled players in Spider-Man, Wanyama and Jay Rod. Heart hopes for 6th though!

Great thread. Tough one, but I'm going with Koeman
-
That's fair comment. As long as they don't make the same mistake twice and have learnt from from their failures, and .... as long as they don't make many new ones.
-
Yep. One of many. But we are in as good a position now as we could have hoped for given the errors. Time to get behind the lads.

Everyone cares - just some worry more than others SOG. Bed wetters is a pretty insulting a term for those who worry more than most. I would describe them as supporters. Finally, as I recall, those that failed to 'wet the bed' on this site were the ones that allowed Lowe to lead the club...twice. Those that fought back eventually removed boardroom failure. We don't need to do that today. Thank goodness.

Today is Judgement Day at the request of Mr Krueger. We have a great manager and staff. We have money in the bank still. We have a good new team, possibly could do with a striker, but so be it. We have reinforced where we were weak We have kept hold of our best players after all We have an owner who cares We have ambition, our manager says we are heading to the champions league in 3 years We have fans that care... Some are too complacent, but those that put themselves above the parapet may have sent a message to the Boardroom to help keep a good owner and encourage a Board that made mistakes. Those that say it was always going to be good are full of blind faith.... those who fought cared. We have a Boardroom worth giving a chance to. It's time now to get behind Saints as a oner... Manager and team, senior leadership (owner and Board) and us the people ... The fans. Well done everyone. We have a club to be feared. Let's take it into Europe together.
-
Looking good for us so far... looking very good. Shame about the Wanyama rumours, hope he gets his head back! Let's keep the fingers crossed. CB and Winger. Still think we need a striker too, but 2/3 ain't bad.
-
We shall see won't we. I hope Krueger isn't exposed again as lacking integrity.
-
Not sure this deserves to be a sticky for much longer, I mean by proportion to his service for the club he deserves to be a sticky for 30 seconds maximum. I take it he won't be making the Saintsweb banner then? 3

Morgan's head gone- Update: It has been re-attached
SaintRobbie replied to Chez's topic in The Saints
Independent saying Arsenal about to bid £27m for Morgan. Let's see how much bottle Krueger and Reed have. -
Interesting.
