Don’t post much these days but enough is enough. Russel Martin’s inflexible philosophy of continuing with the same plan (play out from the back) week in week out without any consistent goal scorers to hit more than you’ll inevitably concede is utterly farcical. I thought he should have been replaced when we won the Playoffs… but we didn’t. He’s the main problem now. And going down and trying again with him is not an option for the team. Thank you Russel - but time to give someone else a go.

Not posted for a very long time. Enough is enough - totally useless, underwhelming and ineffectual manager. Sack him now. Pay for the best manager available- don’t care who - the players aren’t his anyway. Get rid NOW - out of his depth

We’ll stay up, there are worse teams. but the alarming lack of ambition and funding for Ralf from the owner is worrying. Add selling Ings and JWP and it’s hard to see Saints moving forward. shame.

I don’t know why people are shocked. You fail to invest in players and sell and you go down. We have been lucky for years. Sorry but the manager is useless, the boardroom have the wrong strategy and the Chinese owner clearly has Saints as a low priority. The players are dross. Long season of embarrassment towards the Championship awaits. This team isn’t even a contender for automatic promotion. Heart says we’ll win 6-5 though.

We are awful. Frankly, I’m thinking our manager isn’t good enough. That and our normal lack of summer investment. Relegation sadly more likely than ever in my view. Can’t see many positives at the moment.

Only a total slaughter of Pompey on Tuesday will save our manager and our underinvesting owner and boardroom from ridicule this season. Tuesday is the most important game of the season - unless we end up in the relegation contenders- a good chance.
