  1. I see that Mike Dean issued another red card today. I wonder why players behave so badly and need so many redand yellow cards when he is the ref. https://www.premierleague.com/referees/index I dont think these figures include today's match
  2. Bollox. People may have agreed with you but they had seen the Sky replay by then. Ralph hadn't had the benefit of the Sky replay when he blanked Vesty. Ralph is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't in your eyes.
  3. Why on earth not? Without the benefit of the slow motion replay it appeared that Vesty had let his teammates down big time.
  4. I worked with Abdul who was a strict Muslim. A smashing bloke who used to get a dispensation when he came away with us in Internal Audit during Ramadan. He had to catch up with his fasting at other times of the year but it meant that he could eat and drink during the day and his work was unaffected. Why couldn't Fofana have a similar dispensation? Mind you, Abdul's "catch up" days tended to be in December (7 hours daylight per day) when Ramadan was in June (18 hours daylight). There were no flies on Abdul. 😁😁
  5. Hand on heart, do you honestly believe that Boris's cabinet of poodles would go against his wishes when dishing out the contracts?
  6. My friend who supports Everton is rather pissed off with them. Admittedly he lives 100 miles from Goodison and doesn't get to see them much. At the start of every season there is something new which gives them hope. Either a player eg Richarlison or Rodriguez or a new manager like Koeman. Every season they end up being not quite good enough for the European places but still in the top half of the table. As they say - it is the hope that kills you and it is killing him. Mind you.... he doesn't envy us for our 9 nil defeats and hovering near the relegation zone. 😀
  7. Its all right mate. Everyone in football laughs at Everton. The second best team in their city who always promise so much but deliver nothing. Next season will always be good for them. 😁 You don't have a soft spot for them do you ??
  8. Quite an achievement when you consider the size of their crowds. How many times has TCWTB been arrested - not counting any arrests for kiddy fiddling?

    Coronavirus

    Really???
  10. It smacks to me of people who know nothing about football introducing panic, populist measures. Yes the German model sounds great but how can it be introduced in clubs already owned by billionaires? Salary caps would be the best way to address the huge inequalities that exist in football- not only here but in many other European countries. These however are difficult to enforce as rugby's problems with Saracens demonstrate.
  11. A typical cup semi final. Dont go to them if you want good, entertaining football. We were the underdogs and were playing a very good team. For us to win we would always need a bit of luck and that we didn't get with that scrappy goal. This doesn't hurt as much as 84 but boy do I hate semi finals.
  12. Fear not. Nobody will even try to get past Mike Tindall at the back unless they want their leg broken . With him at the centre of defence the Queen in goal won't be troubled.
  13. Lets give the black passport a good kicking. 😀
  14. Lol. I knee that would wind Ducky up. His view of the world and desire to live in the 1970s clearly hasn't been influenced by reading the Express or Mail.
  15. Its the shadow that is offside. Seems fair to me.... if we live in a mad world.
  16. Agree. Labour is in danger of becoming a political cult / movement rather than a party. It us Starmer's job to change that.
  17. I have just got off the phone to Saint David. He has no idea what is happening
  18. A few months ago I was delighted by our performance at home to Man Utd. At half time we were leading 2 nil. We eventually lost 3 2 but at least we had been 2 nil up. I sent congratulations to the lads at the end of the game for being 2 nil up at one stage. I am sure that SDR did the same.
  19. I am just annoyed that after yesterday they have overtaken us in the race for the "most points dropped from winning positions" title. (19 v 18). Fulham (16) and Spurs (15) are also catching us fast. At this rate we will struggle to finish in a Champions League place.
  20. Page 6. lol. I think that some of our fans should read the dictionary definition of the word "supporter". Does this result mean that Ralph is employed for another week?🤔
  21. Weird and pig thick stupid.
  22. I can't see that Jankewitz has a future here. This may be bollocks and is based on nothing more than conjecture but I think that Ralph has a very strong sense of doing things "correctly." He believes in what I would call an almost "old fashioned" sense of "right and wrong" and wants people to operate to a high code. Team spirit and togetherness are important to him. For example compare his treatment of Cedric and Long . Cedric played infrequently for Ralph and left the club not long after after his arrival whilst Long's contract was extended. Long is generally considered to be "good for the dressing room". Cedric was not - having , for example , shortly before Ralph's arrival left the ground once at half time after being substituted in a game. Long's "song" was played on the tannoy at SMS before matches. Cedric apparently played on his phone when in the treatment room rather than talk to other teammates having treatment. Long fitted Ralph's ethos - Cedric did not so Long was retained whilst Cedric was initially replaced by a rookie and then left the club For example last year there was a very nasty story circulating on Twitter about Valery. I won't go into details but if any of it was true, it cast Valery in a very bad light - and would not please anyone with a high moral code and sense of "right and wrong". Since then Valery has rarely played for us and Ralph has been quite happy to ship him out of the club - even though we had no replacement. As I said this may all be bollocks but I would suspect that Jankewitz has upset Ralph's ethos - firstly by asking for a transfer at such an early stage in his career and then by his performance at Old Trafford. If so, he has no future under Ralph and I would expect to see him leave the club at the end of the season.

Have you ever thought that perhaps she gets the enhancements and works so many unsocial hours to get away from her husband? 🤭

    Coronavirus

Shows what can be done when you use a public body like the NHS to run things. A pity that local authorities who have track and tracing services in place weren't given that gig. Instead we had / have private companies costing a fortune and not providing a very good service.
  25. 6% of the American population had been vaccinated when Biden took over on January 20. Just over 2 months later this figure is 38%. A pity that Trump never put his weight behind the vaccination process. It has taken his replacement to get things moving.
