Did the UK test any passengers when they arrived from South Africa?

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

Not only did he send the letter but he made it public!! Megaphone diplomacy. -
Family man???? His kids must have great fun and interaction with him in those few moments of the day when he is not watching US trials or posting bollox on here. A fine example of someone getting their priorities in life wrong.
-
Interesting. That's a good one that I have considered and haven't completely discounted.
-
I am beginning to think that sad hypo did spend 4 days watching the trial. He must have spent the greater part of the evening typing on this thread.
-
You would really have thought that a section of the British media would have reported on these dramatic events. Its probably BBC bias.
-
Wow. 4 days watching the trial. You must lead an interesting life.

I did Fulham last week so can't do them again. Arsenal look good but will Newcastle get a new manager bounce? I am tempted by Ipswich in League 1.
-
Everyone could choose Liverpool if they wanted. A few weeks ago 14 went out when Chelsea drew.

I take part in a Last Man Standing competition in a local pub. Each week you have to choose a team to win that weekend from the top 4 divisions. You can only choose a team once. If your team doesn't win, you are out and the prize goes to the last person left in. I normally get knocked out early in each round l but I am in the last 6 of the current round. Over 40 people entered and the prize money is over £200 plus a lot of kudos. I need a team to win this weekend and unlike previous weeks I see no obvious winner ..... apart from Liverpool. My dilemma is whether I should plump for them and in effect back againdt Saints. A couple of weeks ago I went against my better instincts and chose Pompey to win in the first round of the FA cup. They scraped home 1 nil against non league opposition. My head overcame my heart that time. This time my head says to choose Liverpool but my heart says that I cannot. I think my heart is going to win. Am I correct?

Quoting a Conservative MP " I think today's performance was the most embarrassing by a Conservative Prime Minister since last week's PMQs." When will they just put the bumbling fool out of his misery? -

That's easy. First find Brett from Camden. Add Delldays and Batman. Then find Jamie the burger flipper from the Navy and you have nearly half the jury thinking like Alex Law. -
A couple of points: He has improved our defence considerably but Salisu is a long way from being the world classs defender some people think. Whilst not exonerating McCarthy , Salisu could have been much tighter on Pukki for the first goal. His distribution is also rather erratic. Against Villa he twice needlessly put McCarthy under pressure by passing short and again today he seemed to be the weak link when the defence was passing amongst themselves. When was the last time that we conceded from a corner? I may be wrong, but I thought it was some time ago.

He was being employed by them at a cost of £250k pa to write a weekly column after he resigned as Foreign Secretary. Yes £5k a column!! His columns only stopped when he became PM. I think I would have preferred to have read a column written by Rallyboy! -

It wouldn't surprise me if Johnson steps down from office in the next few months before more damage is done to "Brand Boris. " His money problems are well documented. These could be solved however once his days at No 10 are over by following the likes of Blair and Cameron onto the lecture circuit . He would also have his "journalism" to fall back on. Who. on the otherhand would want to listen to a PM widely regarded as an incompetent fool? Would the Telegraph want him to write for them at £250k a year if he is a busted flush? if he quits now he still has his supporters amongst the Tory faithful. If he hangs on too long even the Tory blue rinse brigade will not be interested in what he has to say. -
Which 90s band are you regretting the last 25-30 years over?
Tamesaint replied to Turkish's topic in The Lounge
My biggest musical regret comes from the early '70's. David Bowie was doing his Ziggy Stardust tour. I can remember agreeing with my pals that as we had too much homework that night we wouldn't bother going to see him. 😩 On the other hand I did gain enormous streetcred with junior Tame when he started to watch the DVD of Queen at Wembley and I was able to say that I was at that concert. -
Anyone know who was upfront for us in the semi final against Leicester?
-
If it had been given a higher profile, Boris would have mumbled some bollocks and it would have been dismissed as "Project Fear".
-
That is hilarious. I have been to Portsmouth and 7 of the other 9 listed cities. I can confidently statr that Portsmouth is completely unlike the other cities.

At times there aint anything as strange as Saintsweb. Ralph knockers are also absent. I wonder why.

The death of Patterson's wife was undoubtedly tragic and he deserves sympathy for that. However as Environment minister he was a disaster. His refusal to ban neo nicitoids in farming (thank God an EU directive overruled him) and his enthusiastic support for the badger cull indicate that whenever the NFU told him to jump, he asked "how high?" As one of the leading Euro "Spartans" he is one of those responsible for the mess that Brexit has become. His lobbying activities just stink. The House of Commons will be a better place without him. . -
So a Pompey fan who hates Saints with a passion comes out with a couple of anti Saints "exclusives" . Hmmmm. Highly believable... not. I might give TCWTB a ring and see if he has any news about Saints.

There is only one man who can save Newcastle from their current plight. Come on down Big Sam Allardyce. Wouldn't it be funny .... all that money, the choice of anyone in the world and they end up with Big Sam. 😊😆
-
Did you honestly expect a different reaction from him?
-
Ah yes. Cameron Norrie - the new Brit. He's British due to his parents coming from the UK. He has been brought up and learnt his tennis in South Africa and lives in New Zealand. Emma Raducanu is British because she was brought up and learnt her tennis over here. Her parents are Rumanian and Chinese. We will claim them all.
