Thank God for that. Can you please check in every couple of hours. I think we need a 6 pm roll call. I fear that we may lose a few on this forum.

Good old Henry Horton. He had a stance that looked as if he had been sitting on a chair and then someone had pulled the chair away.

I bet you were fun at school on Monday 3 May 1976 (if you were old enough) explaining to everyone that Stokes was offside when he scored. After all Buchan, the Scotland captain claimed that he was. 😁😁😁
-
So you have no opinion on this yet you come on the forum to wind up the Hampshire fans who are "enjoying the. moment'. Tell me, honestly. When you were at school did you find that you were getting your head kicked in an awful lot? 😁😁😁

I am completely calm. If you want to regurgitate bollocks expect to be slapped down. If you don't like being corrected don't regurgitate bollocks.

The Lancashire captain Dane Vilas spent ages after the match complaining to the umpires.
-
Exactly. Radio 5's coverage was amazing. They were constantly blowing smoke up Lancashire's arse seemingly unaware of Hampshire 's record of defending low scores in big matches Eg The quarter final at Trent Bridge last season. The injured Lancashire bowler Mahmood was one of the summarisers without a Hampshire "counterbalance". Imagine the outcry on here if Saints were to play Liverpool in the cup final and the only summariser was the injured Jordan Henderson.
-
They only completed the 2 runs after the umpires said that the ball was dead. That is normal when the batsman's stumps are broken by the fielding team. There was a similar fielding issue when Lancashire were bowling. They should have had 4 fielders "inside the circle" on the last ball of the 19th over. They only had 3 allowing them to have an extra fielder in a run saving position. As I said - bad losers.
-
The view is bollocks. Lancashire's claim is based on the theory that they would have run twice when the ball went straight to the wicketkeeper. I doubt whether this has ever happened in any game of cricket ... ever. Bad losers. 😁

Oh dear. Careful now. The forum wouldn't be the same without you.

This whole election is completely bizarre. Ministers happy to be in the Cabinet defending an incompetent, lying , rogue now claiming that things need to change as if the current situation is nothing to do with them. Public services underfunded yet an orgy of tax cuts promised. The world getting hotter yet more debate about whether a woman can have a penis than about climate change. Are these people really the best that the Conservatives can offer? The Thatcher government with the likes of Maggie, Clarke, Heseltine and Whitelaw at its centre was light years away from this bunch of half wits. Starmer may not have a clue about a vision for the Labour party... but at least he lives in the real world. This bunch of Tory clowns live in some sort of fantasy world. What a state this country is in.

I have recently had treatment in both private and NHS hospitals and can say that the standard of care in the NHS was much better that that of the private hospital. The food was better in the private hospital and I ate off better quality plates but the standards of nursing care in the NHS were much better. Some basic practices were not adopted in the private hospital. If you want to have something cosmetic done and want to stay in a hotel then go private. If there is something actually wrong with you then my advice is to go NHS.

My son lives in Sunak's constituency in rural North Yorkshire. In his local pub most of the customers fit the image of traditional Yorkshiremen. When they get onto politics they make Duckie sound like a socialist.Good Tory voters but nevertheless I have heard one of them saying that he wasn't going to vote for a "f...ing Paki".

Please refer me to the post on this thread when someone who doesn't like Starmer is accused of having swastika tattoos. I could do with a laugh. -

I see your Grant Shapps and trump him with Kemi Badenoch. 😁😁 If you still want to play how about Suella Braverman ?? I think that she would give Grayling a run for your money in the contest for most inept Cabinet Minister. What a state the Conservative party is now in. -

Clearly the Conservative party found this thread this week, read it and realised that it was time to get rid of Johnson. "Echo chamber" ? Nah. More like trendsetter.😁😁 -

There are 2 ways that this can go now. On the one hand as soon as he goes the blinkers are lifted from everyone's eyes. More shit comes out about him. Cummings opens up his chest of stories . These make the recent treehouse and blow job stories appear small beer. The world gets back to normal and the years of Boris seem like a bad dream. The alternative is the "he only ate cake view". Led on by the likes of the Mail and Express he starts his "upper class buffoon" act. People forget the lies and incompetence and he is regarded as "good old Boris". Trump is leading the way in rewriting his term in office. Hopefully Johnson doesn't follow his example. -
