  1. God knows why Duckie this sad... But I have long given up on trying to understand what Duckie thinks.
  2. The BBC is shit scared of upsetting the Tory party. Lineker is just the latest example. The unsuitability of Boris Johnson's dad's knighthood was raised on Thursday's QT. It was claimed that he was a wife beater having in the past broken his wife's nose in an argument. Presumably to keep her BBC job Fiona Bruce then pointed out that "but he had only once" beaten his wife so badly that she needed hospital treatment!!0 Like Trump, the Tories want to silence media opposition. Unlike Trump with CNN it looks as if they are winning with the BBC.
  3. What a shocking day for the BBC. It bows to the Daily Mail and government ministers re Gary Lineker and it admits to not challenging Nadine Dorries when she made up smears about Sue Grey. I suppose that is what you get when the chairman of the BBC is a Johnson crony and the director of communications used to work for Theresa May. It's hilarious to think that the likes of Batman are so gaslit that they think the BBC is a left wing organisation!!
  4. It looks as though his nurses have let our resident nutter near the keyboard again.
  5. Yet Germany has taken in 9 times the number of refugees per sqkm of land than the UK.
  6. Whenever Sunak (or Boris or Truss come to think of it) comes up with that retort , you know that he is struggling. The same applies to the Jeremy Corbyn taunt. Starmer had Sunak over a barrel at PMQs today. All the Tories talk about is how tough they are on immigration and how the system is in a mess (of their own making). Starmer was just showing the hollowness of their claims so Sunak had to come out with the leftie lawyer rubbish.
  7. We will be fine if we could just play Chelsea and Leicester every week. It's crazy how well over half our points have come from those 2 teams
  8. You missed off the appalling state of our rivers and coastline due to sewage releases. Is anything better now than it was back in 2010?
  9. No. So it means that like the rest of us the people of Northern Ireland have restrictions on their ability to travel and work in Europe. A great shame if you are not a Little Englander.
  10. I love Alistair Campbell's analogy: Praising the NI deal is like praising your kids when you have left them alone for a week. They have completely trashed the house but expect to be praised for tidying up the kitchen.
  11. I think that we are all going through the 5 stages of grieving process. Denial - think that I am past that. Last night was the final straw. We are poor. Will get relegated. Time to forget doing a Wigan. Anger - Where I am and I suspect the OP. How did it all fall apart so badly?? Who is to blame?? I want heads on a plate. Bargaining - Not sure what we can do. It is all out of our control. Depression - will be over us all until the end of the season. Acceptance - August 2023. Christ. Being a Saints fan sucks atm.
  12. We will just have to agree to differ. You clearly think this is a good article. I don't. 😁
  13. Are you having a bad day ? Calm down, dear. Calm down. Clearly you missed the paragraph about JWP being the only player who could attract interest from other clubs and even then he might stay. He may well not move on but you need to wake up and smell the coffee if you think that the likes of Lavia, ABK, KWP and Salisu will be playing for us in the Championship next season.
  14. I thought it was a poor article - too complacent and clearly written by someone who doesn't know much about the team. The idea that the likes of Lavia, ABK KWP and maybe even Tino are going to stay to be moulded into a new, refreshed team is a bit of a joke.
  15. The Unionist tradition in NI is so strong that NI will not join the Republic in my lifetime and I suspect in yours. Ulster has always been different from the rest of Ireland. - in matters of religion, industry and culture and it is these differences which underlie the separation of NI from the Republic. Over 100 years ago , on the brink of WW1 , the UVF were preparing to fight to maintain the union with the UK. Attitudes have not changed very much since then. Anyone who thinks that the Unionists would agree to unification is revealing a Karen Bradley like level of ignorance.
  16. Let's face it. A team who has scored just 2 goals from open play in the last 900 minutes of league football is going to find it difficult to go on the sort of run that would keep us up.
  17. I agree. A bit disappointed in you not starting a Rasmus Out thread!! 😁😁😁
  18. I never thought it was possible but in Rasmus have we found someone worse than Rupert Lowe???
  19. I am surprised that Alex hasn't started a Rasmus Out thread.
  20. I don't think that anyone with more than half a brain cell would want to re-establish a hard border between NI and the Republic.
  21. Ruben would be in a very strong postion if he keeps us up or at least we go down fighting. He would be on the radar of a lot of clubs. If Rasmus and or Wilcox don't appoint him immediately at the season end and start a search for a manager with stats even better than NJ's, then expect Ruben to walk.
  22. You probably would be if you also suffered from syphilis.
  23. Anyone want to bid for Guided Missile's account???
  24. As Upset Fish said Serves the stupid old bastard right. It is simply amazing how cunts like Farage and Johnson got people to vote against their own interests.
