Why do you always feel that you have to tell people what they should do on their holiday? Just because Warrior doesn't sit on the beach at Weston Super Mud with a handkerchief on his head and trouser legs rolled up like you do.

Add in the Jesse March charade and it looks like SR have problems when appointing managers. There is a huge rebuilding job required this summer and we have been farting about finalising the manager for a few weeks now.

Footballers don't stay loyal but why should they when 99% of the population would happily change their employer if offered much more money and a job in a better environment? To expect young men to behave differently is unrealistic.
-
... Of course you would stay loyal to your current employer if someone came to you and offered to double / triple your money and to work in a much more prestigious establishment. I think you are a hypocrite.

The NHS for one would fall apart without nurses from the Philippines, radiographers from the Indian sub continent, doctors from Europe etc etc. (Just a few examples of the health staff that I have encountered in the last few months).

Ok. This is the main board comprised mostly of people who own the company. They can set the strategy and guidelines. Who however is the "operational board"? The people who actually run the club on a day to day level. Who decides which players we buy and sell ? Who decides on the colour shirts that we play in next season? Who decides on the food and drink availability in the concourses? Dragon and co are not going to get involved in this and these are the sort of decisions that affect the average fan. Who is going to be making these sort of decisions?

So the guy who is in charge of football strategy has only attended one of our matches since we played Chelsea away. Unbelievable!!

I also have a soft spot for Coventry. The whole country seemed to support you in the 1987 Cup final and I remember celebrating when you won. I went to the Charity Shield later that year along with a Coventry supporting mate. My only problem is that my recently acquired stepson is a Coventry supporter of the worst kind. Too young to remember the 1987 cup final he is convinced that Coventry won the League in the 1980's . If you play us next season and win he will be an unbearable dickhead so I hope that you win the final and enjoy the Premier League.

So Nathan Jones is a born again Christian. Martin is a Buddhist. Can SR extend their search for a manager into those who have no significant religious beliefs?

Rishi could decide to tackle the lunatics by sacking Suella Braverman who seems to be their most prominent champion. Doubt that he has the guts to do so.

Looking back at this thread it is remarkable how so few of the Leave advocates nowadays post here. eg Wes Tender has disappeared off the face of the earth. Duckie occasionally makes an appearance but nothing like as frequent as before. Guided Missile only appears when his nurses allow him near a computer. I wonder why.

A good article.

A Brexit benefit!! Ukraine would have been overwhelmed by Russia if not for Brexit!! At least that is JRM's view. Seems that he is getting desperate trying to justify Brexit.

Was our cup victory at Palace a part of the 12 match losing run? If so I think it can be discounted as that was a freak result. It's not often that a goalkeeper effectively throws 2 goals into his net - not even Bazuma.

Don't do it!!! I would have thought that you would have learnt from this season. You can't jettison the good all round experience that Turkish offers and replace him with an untried , inexperienced 19 year old. You should do everything you can to keep him.

I wonder why the forum's most right wing dinosaur doesn't want to think about the next election. 😁😁😁

Says it all. Rather pathetic really. 🤔

I would love to know what WSS finds confusing about this post ... or is it just a Pavlovian response that he has to anything that SOG posts?

It's worth it if only to see the gammon frothing at the mouth at all the rainbows.

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

I am sure that Duckie will be there even though in his eyes they are a bunch of pinkoes. 😁😁😁 -
John Corbett. Saved the club in the 1930's and gave us Jackson's Farm.

I blame Che for our season. His incredible miss at Wolves changed our season. We played that game in a mid table position. We had just beaten Chelsea, confidence was high and Wolves were bottom. In that game we were 1 nil down when Che missed the open goal from 6 inches. We were dominating that match and could well have gone on and won. Even a point would have been ok and our confidence would have stayed high. As it was we lost to a team at the bottom, despair crept in, Ralph lost his job and from that we went downhill. The chuckle brothers became our managers, we panicked in the transfer market and the rest will soon be history. My message to SR is if Che wants to go then let him. If any of the current squad don't want to stay then let them go . Appoint the new manager on 29 May and let's start to rebuild this football club

Like many others on this thread I am not too bothered at the moment. We deserve to go down and there has been little entertainment at SMS for the last couple of seasons. HOWEVER It will hurt next season if we don't get a team together that is no improvement on this lot that we currently have. It will hurt if the likes of Ballard and or Doyle and or Dibling start to come through but then get lured to the Premier League by the likes of Fulham, Palace and Bournemouth. The 2011/12 season was fantastic. One of the best ever to be a Saints fan. 2005 - 2009 were shocking and the worst that I have experienced as a Saints fan. We don't want those seasons to be repeated.
