  1. So how much money has Rupes lost in the last 3 weeks? 500k for his shares in Saints? How much less is his shareholding in that major international bank WHI worth now?? Bit of a shame isn't it???
  2. I love your ideas and think they would make good campaigning points. HOWEVER A wage cap will not work unless it can be applied to the Premiership as well. It will just increase the size of the chasm that currently exists between the Premiership and the Championship if it is not applied to them as well. Can you see the Premiership agreeing to a wage cap???? Thought not.
  3. Alan Brazil got 5 against us for Ipswich in 1982. I think in one of his Talksport programmes last week he only mentioned it once !! We were top of the table at that time.... and we lost 5-2!! A train strike meant that it was difficult to get to Portman Road after work that night but once you got there, you had to wonder why you had bothered!!
  4. I would have thought it was quite clear. They become detrimental when they divert excessive management time and resources away from the main business. The main business is the football club - not an insurance company, a mortgage broker , a radio station etc etc
  5. A charity edition would be a good idea. Will you be able to get it out before the Burnley game??
  6. Prutton would be the sort of player I would like to see playing for us in League 1.
  7. I am sure that 19C will help you in a spirit of reconcilation if he knows that funds would be raised for the club.
  8. Oh sh it!!I have a shirt just like the one that Rupes is wearing in that photo.
  9. I have told you beefore Sundance / 19. Stop believing everything that your boss Rupert tells you.
  10. So where are the pros then???
  11. I think you are correct. And it was more recent than Christmas. Wasn't it about the time that the Hungarian team played us behind closed doors. Was that the weekend of the 4th round of the cup when we were otherwise without a game??
  12. YOu can always give siome advice can't you 19. After all you are quite happily living up Lowe's rectum.
  13. Whatever he is suffering from, I hope that it is not catching.
  14. Lowe told me so on Saturday. He sits behind in Block 4. He consults NC before doing anything.
  15. Nothing to do with whether I have heard it. Lowe has a history of paying people to write on websites like this. I am sure that you can remember the S4E PR fiasco. I consider it strange when his chief defender comes up with information which by its very nature must have come from a source close to Lowe and which has not been disclosed by anybody else on this forum. Don't I have the right to say so? Come and live with me in the land of honey. It is "all sweetness and light" over here.
  16. ..and nobody else has heard it ???? Very strange if you ask me Steve.
  17. How does an "ordinary fan" like 19C who has "no association with Lowe" know this???
  18. No. Think a little bit harder.
  19. Admiration ??? He gets paid to write this carp on this board - probably by the word if the verbage of his postings is anything to go by.
  20. It is quite surprising that the ex chairman has not yet donated £1,000 to Save our saints. Mind you, Lowe also hasn't yet donated. I blame it on the slow Easter post!!
  21. He could always sign cheques under the name of The Third Bear.
  22. Lowe pays you. Why don't you ask him???
  23. I went to that game at Upton Park with the missus who was making one of her rare appearances at a match. She has only been to about 10 or so matches in her life but one of them had been the cup game at Luton which we lost (I think) in January / February 1988. That Luton game , standing in the away end was pretty terrifying for her. Towards the end everyone got really excited as we pressed for an equaliser and as the crowd swayed around she got swept away in the surge. It was pretty normal for football fans at that time in large crowds but for her it was very frightening. She couldn't believe why the stewards didn't open one of the gates to the fences to let people spill onto the pitch. 15 months or so later at Upton Park it was all very prophetic for her. To a non footballing person like her, something like Hillsborough was bound to happen sooner or later. It was a pity that us footballing people didn't forsee it.
  24. Without wishing to be pedantic, Dave Jones and Richards are not sat in their seats. Perhaps they had to stand throughout the game as some sort of penance for the state that the club is now in.
