  1. I wore my "I was there when Claus scored" T shirt. Perhaps it was prophetic!!
  2. This afternoon goes to show how desperately we need Size. It was 1-1 when he went off & Lancashire replaced him. 10 minutes later it was 3-1. Lets just hope that we keep hold of Size - or at the very least find a suitable replacement. I can now say that I have seen Gasmi play!! With a bit of luck I will not see him again in a Saints shirt.
  3. What a silly, silly man. And he has nothing better to do at 1.48 on a Saturday night than write this tosh!!!
  4. Oh yes?? When did I or the other recipients of your sick PM send you an abusive PM?? Sometimes the sensible Sundance / Canteen seems to forget what the nutty Sundance / Canteen has been up to.
  5. I thought his son was called Alphonse. and his daughter Coriander
  6. PMSL You are getting really funny now 19. Don't you get infraction points for referring to LM as Mcmoneyme. Mind you it doesn't matter does it 19?? If you get banned as 19 Canteen you can always return as Sundance Beast can't you??
  7. You missed out the word "painfully." Only joking Frank!!
  8. I cannot believe that you don't appreciate the significance of Lowe being invited to Sunday's match by Forest. Amazed .. but that of course is your opinion and you are fully entitled to it. I am also entitled to my view which is different from yours. And I will enjoy giving vent to my opinions on Sunday in Nottingham. YOu are
  9. That would explain some of the cryptic comments about the East and Indians in the directors's box last Saturday.
  10. Perhaps he plans on returning to Stevenage Borough.
  11. The guy yesterday was Mike Jones. According to my lad , he was in charge at the home match v QPR.
  12. Your posts derry, over the last 4 weeks have been very interesting. I have been very impressed by the way that you have managed to get the idea of a fans's bid going - albeit only as a last resort in the event that no buyer comes forward. Have you now stopped your fans's bid activities? Are you so confident that we will get a buyer that SOS can be wound up? Or do you continue to plan to have meetings with the likes of the Saints Trust "just in case" a fan's bid is still likely to be required?
  13. Up to now the NDA's seem to have been very well observed. There have been no hints or leakages - even on this forum!!! Why therefore has the ban now "apparently" been broken - in Lowe's favourite newspaper?
  14. and I have spent the last half hour trying to find a hedgefund or financial institution with the initials LIMA :-) :-)

    Third half

A great saint - but he hadn't taken his happy pills today. Listening to him between 2 and half past before the match today made me feel pretty suicidal. I know that its academic now but he & the muppet who was on today kept on banging on that Forest's goal difference was +4 better than ours. They didn't seem to realise that if we beat them next week by 2 goals it would be the same. Then he went on and on and on again about how our football in the first half of the season had been pretty to watch but lacked a cutting edge. I happen to agree with him but I didn't want to hear him going on about it for the umpteenth time less than 40 minutes from a very important game. If he gets a job at the club I really hope that it is nothing to do with the pre match teamtalk!!
  16. There was an Indian looking guy in the directors's box today!!
  17. 'nuff said. Those of us who have seen most of his games for Saints think that he has been one of our better players and has helped to tighten the defence.
  18. You are fully entitled to your opinion but I thought that supporters SUPPORTed their club in both good times and bad. To call for the life support machine to be switched off is not what I would consider to be the call of a SUPPORTer.
  19. I think that it was the first year down that Lowe completely mismanaged - and I am not referrring to the Rednapp / Woodwood / Clifford farce which Lowe oversaw & which made SFC a laughing stock. As Birmingham arer proving this year, the first year down after relegation is when you stand the best chance of getting back up. Lowe's "master stroke" of cutting wages to 50% managed to p*** of the majority of the squad. Instead of putting together a promotion attempt in our first year down we ended up spending most of the season with players who just wanted to get away. Our best chance of getting back up was that season - and we completely blew it!! Interesting that no other relegated team has bothered to copy Lowe's master stroke of reducing wages by 50%. We proved the stupidity of that plan.
  20. "Switch off the life support" ???? Well thats not spoken like a true lifelong fan is it??? Don't you realise - there is life for Southampton after Lowe.... and without deadweights like him the future is bright.
  21. First name Sundance.
  22. So how much money has Rupes lost in the last 3 weeks? 500k for his shares in Saints? How much less is his shareholding in that major international bank WHI worth now?? Bit of a shame isn't it???
  23. I love your ideas and think they would make good campaigning points. HOWEVER A wage cap will not work unless it can be applied to the Premiership as well. It will just increase the size of the chasm that currently exists between the Premiership and the Championship if it is not applied to them as well. Can you see the Premiership agreeing to a wage cap???? Thought not.
  24. Alan Brazil got 5 against us for Ipswich in 1982. I think in one of his Talksport programmes last week he only mentioned it once !! We were top of the table at that time.... and we lost 5-2!! A train strike meant that it was difficult to get to Portman Road after work that night but once you got there, you had to wonder why you had bothered!!
