So nothing about playing easier sides. Didn't think so.
-
You are echoing the manager?? When did Martin say that we have had easy opponents? I must have missed that one. You are being too pessimistic. Martin is keeping the pressure on his players. That is his job. Managers do that sort of thing. Similarly if things are going badly they come up with bullish comments. Did you echo Selles last season in the same way as you are echoing Martin when Selles said that we would not be relegated?

Lets have a few more yellow cards.
-
Maybe but doesn't get aeay from the fact that both teams have been disappointing so far. Nothing for us to be scared of.
-
Are a few red cards too much to ask?

Fair enough. Judo and Boxing don't qualify and no loss there. As she would throw a javelin onto grass Jessica Ennis can sneak into the sportswoman category. 😜
-
Agree. Snooker and darts are both pastimes. Sports are played on grass.

We drew at Deepdale. Leeds lost.
-
Hope that we have a strong ref when we go there. Their fans are total neanderthals and will intimidate a weak ref.

Statistics, damn lies and statistics. If you compare the last 13 games since the start of November and not the last 20 we have gained 5 points on Leicester. If they lose on Mondays it will be 8 points from 14 matches. I think it will be hard for us to overtake them but I wouldn't write us off just yet. A 21 match unbeaten run is hard to achieve but we have managed it.

Leicester win. Stay above Ipswich and then hunt Leicester down.
-
Bet365 made it outright for the title rather than each way about 1/2 weeks ago. I had been tempted to have a top up after Sheff Wed but that's when I noticed it was for outright so didn't bother. I would recommend Bet365. They seem to have better offers and better prices than other bookies. They also bung occasional free bets my way "bet credits"
-
That's what I thought. It wad sometime around Xmas and the QPR, Swansea, Plymouth games when the penny dropped and I decided that we were good for the top 2. At that time the bookies had Ipswich and Leeds shorter than us (and obviusly Leicester) sl I had to have a dabble.

Top 2. Pay 1/3 the odds
-
10 /1 on Bet 365. Ipswich are 8/1. I put money on a couple of weeks ago. Each way at 12/1. I dont put much on but if it pays off it will help to buy next season's PL season ticket. 😁😁

How about if the existing population don't fancy the jobs?

Wherever you live. You then might realise that immigrants are not all the monsters that you seem to think.

Pathetic.

There is a simple explanation. Therese Coffey is one of Liz Truss's best friends.

Pompey supporters.

Who has hijacked Alex's login? He is talking a lot of sense. 😁😁😁

It is not just poltical parties who are addicted to immigration. It is the whole economy !! The sooner MPs grow up, explain this to the country and start to explain why limited immigration is needed in the Uk the better. My mother in law is in a nursing home. The vast majority of staff who work there are not from the UK. The simple fact is that the pay and the conditions of work are not attractive to British people. The fees (£7, 000 a month) that minlaw pays are already astronomical. If the home was to pay higher wages and "invest in training our own citizens properly" the fees would rise even further. Certainty minlaw would find it difficult to pay them as would I daresay many of the other residents.

Pompey fans don't leave their seats for a piss. They just piss in their seats. Mind you I wouldn't blame them if the toilets for home fans are like those I experienced in the away end a few years ago.

During this transfer window I have seen several comments about FFP restricting our options. Can anybody explain why and how close to the wire we are flying.

Bring them on. We have dropped away points against teams like Norwich who just sat back, denied us space and waited for us to attack. I think the top teams will be less inclined to play like that and will attack more - a style of play that will suit us better.
