The analogy doesn’t work at all I’m afraid. They earn in a week what most of us earn in a year, if we are very fortunate.
If you want to earn that kind of money then you can expect to work at company’s leisure and not yours!
What an odd answer.. What on Earth has safe standing got to with this subject?
Yes move the away area to another part of the ground.
In this way we fill one end and generate more noise which is important....
So, we don’t have control of the ball or the match and we bring on immobile Charlie - to do what exactly?
Why did we play a flat back four tonight also?
Sorry Kelvin but really not the brightest decisions.
Ok I will say what others are thinking but afraid to say.
As a player I dislike Hoedt.
I actually I am not a great fan of his personality either.
So there - just an opinion but best out in the open... Cue the ‘I bet he doesn’t like you either quotes’ and ‘You don’t even know him’ quotes from the politically correct crowd..
Oh and the ‘call yourself a fan’ quotes too lol...
Just answering the question ....
Apart from the fact that Romeu is just not good enough these days Hughes seems have personal issues with lots of players as it is only as a last resort that some get a look in despite the obvious form shown from those individuals and the total lack of form/skill shown by the current first eleven set in concrete player or players....
One of Hughes major failings seems to be his propensity towards favourites....
Hoedt will be back in on Sat and Obafami dropped, this why Hughes deserves no sympathy for his results. He doesn’t select players on form and performances.
To be fair he is really not good enough, however nor is Hoedt and we all know the story there, he will be the first name on the team sheet Saturday come what may...
If Austin is really better than our other options then Hughes is an incredible judge of a player because hardly anyone else can see it.....!
We are very lucky to have Hughes it would seem!
